The macbook will provide plenty of stamina if that's required. As others have mentioned, you don't buy a gaming laptop for all day outlet-free computing...
Having got half way through I still don't love it. I have a real hate for dull/un-interesting environments, which is why I didn't get on with Fallout 3. I suspect the reasons for me not really enjoying this game are much the same - it's all the same grey world.
5) is it true the maps are small and u can't really play with the sniper ???????????

1 & 2) Runs fine, yeah. Sometimes it takes half a minute to find and connect to a suitable host but no problems to speak of in game. No choppy FPS that I have experienced - though there is some in the single player campaign.
3) I think the additions to the multiplayer are welcome and, though it's similar it is slightly better.
4) I assumed it did, maybe I'm incorrect. It certainly doesn't look bad running on either of the two HD displays I've tried it on.
5) It is true that not many maps suit sniping well in my opinion. I wouldn't necessarily say that they are all small, but there is a lot going on in most - so not much open space which sniping is good for.
It's a control pad at the end of the day. Still subpar to mouse & keyboard for playing FPS.
Having now owned both a PS3 and Xbox 360, I probably prefer the 360s pad slightly but I hardly find the dual shock pad unusable. The 360 controller had a couple of things wrong with it too - I hate the D-Pad and the way the grips rub off the analogue sticks after 5 seconds.
Pretty sure I agree with most of the titles on the list. Great to see PSO on there, it was the game that introduced me to online gaming - so much nostalgia!

I've got a 4890 at the moment and am too waiting for the 69xx series to be released before upgrading. With a bit of luck, the pricing will be spot on and the performance is supposed to surpass that of the 5870 - which would have been my choice of upgrade prior to the 6000 series.
