Didn't ESPN buy setanta so surely it cant be to hard to see the matches now.

I remember being over there for the 2002 World Cup and only the final, semi, few USA games and one other match was on.

Well Everyone in Northern Ireland has an English team and mines Chelsea..... Only been to 4 games tho. (It's across a sea and more than 500 miles away can you balme me?)

Atmosphere doesn't hold a candle in the dark to a Northern Ireland game despite being 3 times the attendance at the Bridge.

[QUOTE="Locke562"][QUOTE="muff07"]

Actually C-14 (Or Caron dating as it's commonly reffered to) is only acurate to 14,000 years due to the relativly short half-life of the Caron atom. The oldest rocks in the world have been dated to2.45 Billion years old using Uranium and other Unstable isotopes half-lifes to atain date. After2.45 billion years it goes down to theories on how long certain sequences of events are thought to have take eg. Cooling of Earth from molten fire ball to a cool solid outter crust.

But the Big Bang is based on all are current knowledge on the cosmos and universe and predictions/simulations from computers. It's much like how people thought the world was flat, a new idea could emerge from new information.

But the biggest thing that (Almost) proves the Big Bang theory is that The further away a selestial object is the further the shift to the red side of the spectrum it is, I.e the further away something is the faster it is moving away (Also meaning the universe is expanding) and this must have occured from a single point.

I thought carbon dating using Carbon-14 was accurate up to roughly 50,000 years.

correct, it is accurate to around 50000-65000. after that the peices become to small to work with. there are many though that have much long half-lives( and ones with much shorter)

No Thats Argon that is accurate to 50,000 thousand years which is commonly mistaken for Carbon dating..... It's called Carbon dating but doesn't actually use the Carbon atom to work out the age of the rock.

What is so outrageous about that? Carbon dating has given them the idea of it being that old. Its not a definite figure but its probably in the area.Big_Bad_Sad

I like Black pudding...Not that common in Northern Ireland tho because in our 'Full Monty'/'Ulster Fry'/'Other word for fried breakfast' we replace it with Potato Bread and Soda Bread/Farls (Which are superior in every way)

People in general are overweight. Yes that includes other countries and not just the states. I believe Australia is on pace to be number one. And in the UK they fry candy bars etc so this is nothing new. Just copied.LJS9502_basic

In the Uk (Mostly in Scotland andIn Northern Ireand, not so much England and Wales) It's possible to get Cadbury Mar's bars, Curly Wurleys etc fried in and Fish and Chips shop.

BTW Mars bars etc. > Herseys, I was actually disspointed by the taste and range of sweets in America last few times I was over, tho I found an Ex-patriot Irish shop in NYC and another in Boston and stocked up there.

I don't understand. I truly don't. I'm not trying to troll; I think Uncharted was a good game. But why is everyone praising it with astonishment and anticipating Uncharted 2 like Halo 3? I can't find much special about Uncharted, except for the graphics. The question has been lingering in my head for a long time, I just have to wonder why Uncharted is so amazing to people? I thought it was a good game. Maybe I'll play it again, but please enlighten me. Don't treat me as an enemy though, as I truly want to know, and am not trolling.

The voice acting and cut-scenes are amoung the best if not thee best I've ever seen in a game.

Tbh theres not really anylargeadavantages over any Western European country (Except Portugalbecause it's the reject of western Europe) apart from the price of Petrol/Gas, and the weathers nicer than Scandanavia,Uk etc.

Also why do Americans say they have more rights than Western Europeans? (Maybe I could understand Austria or Germany) but I mean in the Uk I have the same rights as an American (Except being able to carry a gun) and things like Censorship are far less stringent.
