I wish Pro-Life wasn'tequivalent with angry, narrow-minded and bigoted, but, sadly, in general it is. Umm, TC try Sepultura - Chaos AD. Dimmu Borgir. Mayhem ... I actual like Avenged Sevenfold, even though they are all like 5 years younger than me and NuMetal. Their stuff is decent. Slayer is the ultimate for speed/thrash though. I can't get enough of em.

There are some real spooky and creep out moments. I would rate it a 7.2/10. Most of the time its you entering a room, the room going black (or foggy), and either someone appearing RIGHT behind you or someone you thought was a corpse jumping up right in front of you. It's quite exhilarating, actually and adds a lot to the game. He should be fine with it.
