I haven't seen anyone give props to this industrial metal band so I thought I would. I love most songs of off most of their albums but my favorite would have to be Demanufacture with Digimortal coming in at a close second.

I saw them once in Oakland at some small dive with a few other bands (Strapping Young Lad is the only other one that was good that night). The show was AMAZING and one of the best experiences of my sad pathetic little life.

If you haven't heard their music and you like heavy metal give em a try.

Nope. As much as I like Trent Reznors version, Johnny Cash gave that song an intangible wisdom and powerful meaning that Trent could never bring. You can feel the pain and remorse when Johnny Cash sings that song.

Agreed. There is an ancient, somber "earthen" tone to Cash when he sings it. I even like his decision to change the onecurse word to "Thorns". It fit Cash's style better.

Reznor = new, acute pain

Cash = old, weary pain

Don't let marijuana rule your life. You will find you have done was too much procrastinating within your life. Too much letting opportunities pass you by (aka, being friends with cool people who DON'T smoke, education, striving towards a goal ... SUCCESS) and realizing it too late. Also, it WILL affect your memory. Trust me dude, you won't like not being able to remember s*** years from now.

And about that girl ... if your not religious and you KNOW you don't want to honestly explore her belief system with her than do HER a favor a leave her alone. Even if you successfully woo her you guys won't last - she will constantly be trying to get you to go to service and you will constantly be making snide and hurtful remarks about her chosen religion. It just won't work.

Good advice. Trust me.

The Jet Li remake of Fist of Legend is one of my favorite movies of all time. I also love Jet Li's Hero - amazing story and equally amazing fight scenes. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon is def. up there. Along with most of the Bruce Lee movies - Enter the Dragon being my favorite. The Once Upon a Time in China series isn't too shabby either.

HAHA:

Anyways. Good luck with that. Worst pain of my life. My mouth hurt so bad I could barely function for about 3 days. But I had "hugging" roots that wrapped around my jawbone. I was numbed up and just remember feeling immense pressure, creaking, cracking ... they even had to drill through parts of my jaw to extract the teeth.

But I am sure your experience won't be THAT bad.

[QUOTE="Evil_Saluki"]

It is complicated and I never try to get my head around it. A lot of time it's classed around the form of the skeleton and / or the eating habits. But mostly it's down to developing a habit which is unuseral for their species. Take a Camel Spider for instance, despite their name they don't get classed as aspider because they don't like the sun.

SpaceMoose

The thing is that the species didn't just spontaneously arrive at that. There were gradual changes for them to get to that point, and they weren't all "Camel Spiders." At some point there has to be a first one, and it's not like it would be vastly different from its parent(s).

Camel Spiders are some wicked a** creatures. Just thought I would say that.

The bird thing was caught by accident. The pirhanna thing was PROBABLY just a regular feeding.But the puppy thing, that's just wrong. Like when the Mexican soldiers were using strung-up puppies to train on using their bayonets. It's just cruelty to animals to do that.

The bird thing can totally be real. I doubt it lived much longer than a day, what with the smell of blood in the air, infection and the inability to heal such a wound. Someone mentioned chickens running around for a while without a head; one lived a year and a half.
