Sounds like a DVD-Drive error. No idea what's causing it though. Does it sound like the disc spins free in the drive when you put one in? Are there any red lights lit up on the power button? Not much to go on...

I bought Oblivion right after I got my first 'Box, about a year and a half ago. I am STILL playin Oblivion (with huge breaks here and there to play other games). I think it's equal parts full exploration/DLC/not wanting to let go to an amazing world. I need to let go and finish though ... other MASSIVE games await ...

Pretty funny. I thinka lot of those were Super Bowl commercials.

I Gamefly'd RE5 days before my Pro got the E74. The game worked fine until my console broke. I decided to buy the RE5 Elite and I LOVE it. One thing though: the RE5 that came shipped with my console gives me loading problems quite frequently. It will attempt to load and just hang with a black screen. All my previous games play fine on the new console. I wish I would've known this would happen and kept my GF version to swap out...

Anyway, I have heard of the game not working for a lot of ppl.

I know it's common sense but nobody has mentioned it yet: You should NOT ignore cracked discs. These things can and will eventually explode in your drive, causing massive damage to it. Replace, install or THROW IT AWAY. A cracked disc (even a new $60 game) is NOT worth needing to take your Xbox in for repairs.

For me, since I work a swing shift playing before work is too, umm, distracting. Playing when I get home often doesn't happen or happens too late. I work Mon - Fri so I would say Saturday mornings. Cup of coffee or tea, or maybe just a hunger ache in my belly to fuel my agression (for shooters of course), and all before my girlfriend wakes up!!

here's an idea. turn off infinite ammo and go play those same bosses on pro. then tell us how easy they are

ceells87

I agree with the topic poster and with you, Ceells87. The sub-bosses(see Executioner, first Chainsaw Dude, and Gatling Gunner, among others)are actually harder to beat than the main bosses. I thought the Jill fight would be harder as well. Nahhh. Right now I am right at the Excella boss fight and I am hoping for a real challenge.

I am sure that they will be harder on pro. MUCH harder.

BTW, Mr. Moderator. I realize this is in the PS3 forum, but right before yesterday's maintenance the topic was "How do I cool down my Xbox fast?" and was in the 360 forum. I swears it :) .

But I'm curious as to why you want to cool the 360 off quickly? I've left mine on for like... 6-8 hours more than a few times, and it never really gets that warm. And it's an original 360 with the original chipset, so it would be the most likely to get hot. SteeleInd

Curious huh? So do you also run to work with scissors in your hand across a super-highway dressed in "asphalt-grey" or regularly play one-man Russian Roulette? That is a gamble my friend.
