So Infinity Ward basically named the game "Infinity Ward."

I'm surprised Emily Blunt's name doesn't come up more often in these conversations. I think she'd make a great Lara Croft. It'd be hard for me to watch Daisy Ridley and not think of Rey, but I'm sure she'd do a great job.

[Vague complaint about this game and DLC in general and videogames and America and capitalism and humanity and the meaninglessness of existence.]

I usually only buy a season pass if I know more or less what I'm getting and if I'm already playing and loving the game. If it's a shooter and I know the pass is going to get me X more maps, I don't mind not seeing each individual map beforehand. If I'm playing an older game where the DLC is all finished and I know I want it all, I'll buy it in season pass form to save some money, but I don't know if that should even count as "buying the seasons pass." But Fallout 4 is probably the only season pass that I've bought "blind," because I have so much faith in Bethesda. I've never felt burned by a pass I've bought, but I have felt good about avoiding some dubious passes that turned out to be wastes of money.

Obviously Rey was conceived by the Midichlorians.

For $249.99, you can unlock every item in the game, beat every level, strike, and raid, and max level all your characters, so you don't even have to play the game at all.

@mesome713: Nobody's burning games; people are voicing critical opinions about those games. Simply having to know that such opinions exist is not a form of persecution, oppression, or censorship. But, on the other hand, you make an excellent point: enjoying games with boobs in them is basically the same thing as being murdered by a hate group. "First they came for soft-core volleyball porn, and I said nothing..." and all that. Trenchant!

It's worth pointing out that the publisher canceled the release over their own assumptions about the backlash their game would incur, and their own unwillingness to ignore/endure/respond to the hypothetical backlash, not because any feminists or "SJWs" or fascists or trolls forced them to do anything. I find it interesting that people will complain that feminists are too sensitive, but when a company with tens of millions of dollars in profits cancels a release because they're afraid of reading mean tweets and blog posts, no one complains that the company is being too sensitive. No, they just blame feminists for what they hypothetically would have done. When you look at random people on the street who aren't even looking at you, and you get mad at them for what you assume they would be thinking about you if they did look at you, that says a lot more about you than it does about them. If anything, this is a marketing ploy, so that a bunch of Real Gamerz™ will say, "Game haz been censored by SJW? I MUST HAZ DAT!" But whatever. I'm sure the game will be available at your local Hot Topic soon enough, and in the meantime enjoy your persecution complex.
