does playing games at near the laptop's limit make the system more likely to break? or is that not an issue?

i wish i couldve started with a better price range, but i am somewhat lost on how laptop prices were. hell im lost about comps in general.

i guess id prefer to use somewhere around 500-800. if NECESSARY i would pay maybe up to 900. but id really prefer to stay aruond there. (or cheaper if possible of course)..really all i need are

1. reliable (doesnt break down or shut down, stays running well

2. plays SC2 and D3 (does NOT have to be on super duper graphics. can be alright graphics. of course id like if it were somewhat decent but i dont wanna have to pay a premium for that)

thanks!

hey guys i need a laptop (next year fall)

my needs are:

1. does NOT suddenly turn off or go to sleep on me (my previous HP laptop does this)

2. plays SC2 and D3 ( I do NOT need crazy or super high graphics. i can even play it on medium or something around there)

3. NOT super ridiculously expensive

does anyone have suggestions?!

thanks

[QUOTE="myungstunna"]as someone who wants to buy a new RIG that can play SC2 (nothing more) on great settings what should i look for?yonikko

I'm not an expert but i would think that a 2500k and 560 ti or 6950 will be enough and cheap as well :D

just wondering, arent those video cards way above whats needed for SC2 ultra settings? also, does everyone need to buy a cooler? or do fans on the cases suffice?

hey guys just wondering 1. i have a case thats about 6-7 years old, if im buying a new comp do u think its too old to use? 2. wats a good monitor to use for gaming? i do NOT like really huge screens..and i dont need some crazy monitor. just one thats good in a price/quality. 3.if the case is too old, whats a good one i should buy? i also am not planning on buying some crazy 400 dollar case. but im willing to pay for one thats good. 4. i also have a comp thats about 7 years old but some part broke on me. do u guys think theres any part i could salvage from it? if anyone could chime in. thatd be great!
