When you see a relatively AAA-looking Chinese-made game, then read that it was made by only “one person”... Yeah, no. It's a lie. In China the standard for truth is way more lax than in the west. And people don't really care. e.g. Some 19yo boy gets his rich daddy to pay a bunch of people to work on the game with no expectation of getting their names in the credits, and since the boy is managing them, in a waaaaay, they're just extensions of him, like limbs. Meaning when you thiiiiink about it, he sort of did it all by himself. Then he'll brag about it for the rest of his life to make himself look like a genius. Situations like those are absolutely standard fare in China.
