@off3nc3: Right. Says the guy who claims literal poison is good for you. But can't find a single medical professional in the entire world to back him up. Sure thing.
@jenovaschilld: Also Samsung is notorious for writing “IPS” on the product pages for some of their non-IPS-panel products. I caught them doing this many times last year. Each actual panel component has its own serial number you have to look up, to find out what it actually is. You can't trust Samsung to tell you. There's no grain of truth to it at all. It's simply a bare-faced lie.
On what (in my opinion) is the most eye-catching deal listed here, i.e. the Odyssey G32A (24-inch, 1080p, 165Hz) for $150, Samsung/Amazon/both have really gone to lengths to avoid mentioning what type of panel it is. Even to the extent that I can't find any user questions on the topic, which I frankly find hard to believe given what a crucial piece of info that is. (It's a washy VA panel in this case, of course.) Still, that's better than their usual straight-up lying and hoping their customers either won't notice or be too depressed to return.
@Tiwill44: “I still love that "realistic" low-poly aesthetic... I would love if they still made games in that style.”
Very much agreed. Low polygon counts never bothered me in the least. I still love the way MGS1 looks. The low-poly unlockable models in RE2 Remake were fantastic.
