@santinegrete: Yeah it's not as good as RE7, which I loved. But if you really loved RE7, it's worth picking up Village in a sale. The gameplay is very similar, and you get to see the end of Ethan's story.
CAPCOM wasn't able to kill everything good about RE7, despite what seemed like their best efforts. It's like RE5 to RE4.

Instead of just jumping on the social points train to nowhere, take your philosophy to its conclusion, John. Play it out. Where does it go? It leads to you, an actor, being allowed to play nothing and no-one else but you, an actor. Anything more would be sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, bigoted, ageist, ableist, and whatever other words these invertebrates invent between now and then. Doing nothing but exactly what you actually said and did in your actual life, in John Leguizamo: The Autobiographical Documentary. So you better start thinking something interesting because at this rate no-one wants to watch that s***.
The problem is, when you start to turn people on to good, creative, story-driven games, they start to go off bad, boring, unimaginative, easy-to-make games.
You want to lock people into playing basically exactly the same high-floor, competitive, multiplayer slop over and over, feeling apathetically lukewarm, but addicted to it, to the point that they feel like they can't play something new even if they wanted. That's the market EA is trying to grow in their petri dish.
Now everyone who doesn't spend real money gets their feeling of achievement and progress, transformed into the —I'm sure equally exciting— feeling of saving $3.
Nothing squeezes out the old dopamine like saving $3.

The type who thinks he has a clue what the majority of people are doing because he read a handful reviews, and are completely comfortable pulling statements out of your ass like, “In fact, the majority of people having issues are either playing on potato pc's, using settings that are too high, or need an update.” Based on what? The vast majority of AAA games released on PC, gamers don't have this problem, and now all of a sudden, it's not the game's fault, it's just they all got stupid at the same time, huh?
You fluently make up s*** any time you feel like it, you think your own experience is worth more than everyone else's combined, think everyone else is just dumb while you're smart, you quote back to me my entire comment I just said every god damn time, you blame graphical errors that are clearly the game's fault on fully-capable 20-series GPUs, you don't know how to single-space your comments, your own first language is full of spelling mistakes and grammatical errors, and you think whoever is spending money takes no responsibliity whatsoever in a financial transaction.
