He said in the interview,
“It's not supposed to make sense, you're just supposed to experience it.”
But most of the time I'm watching, my “experience” of Tenet is,
“I don't know what's happening.”
I don't know about other people, but I'm not one for letting a film just wash over me like that.
If the characters in the film don't understand it either, then sure! Fair game.
But when everyone seems to know what they're doing except me,
that's not a very pleasant “experience”.

@fastesttcar: Musk didn't hold even half that level of sway even before he took over Twitter and became the target of half the country.
Musk is not someone the general public really care about.

A ~20% price increase for a <1% market loss.

That's what the eggheads call “a win”.

@xgalacticax: Being relatively cheap and being a DVD player were both extremely carefully-considered aspects of the overall strategy on Sony's part. Aspects which added significantly to the risk of the project.
Being the first one to do something is never so obvious at the time.
It's like saying,
“Yeah well the only reason it sold so well was because a bunch of unaffiliated developers made good games for it, which had nothing to do with Sony, and without that, the real number would have only been XYZ.”
More games were inevitably bought by people who only originally wanted a DVD player,
and more DVDs were watched by people who were only originally interested in games,
because of the PS2.

This is interesting/exciting news to me.
There must have been a lot of demand for such a prestigious spot.

@stickemup: It's a bad sign exactly because it's the most beloved in the series.
It means they've just jumped into the middle where they think they could make the most money right off the bat.
Even though none of the games have much to do with each other,
they do have a little,
so it shows a lack of respect for the IP.

And no, CAPCOM didn't start their RE remakes with the second game.
I don't know what you're talking about here.

Like I said right from the first moment this was announced,
the intentions behind this project (the vibes, if you will)
feel alllllll wrong.

Aside from the dodgy-looking gameplay with awful or stock sound effects,
the fact they started with SH2 instead of SH1,
is a really bad sign.
The more I see the worse it looks.
The combat in this trailer looks like a fan project.

A project birthed from the unholy union
of KONAMI's famous greed and Bloober's famous mediocrity.

They should just go ahead and name James to “Konami” this time around.
And Mary to “Silent” a la MGS5. Which reminds me, “Kojima” would work just as well.
Maybe then this god-forsaken Day Before lookalike may actually mean something to someone.

I adored The Witcher 2 and 3,
but as hard as I tried to like the original,
I just gave up on it after about an hour.

Couldn't look past the jank combat.
