They could do this with any character, why they keep choosing Lightning is beyond me. She has absolutely zero personality. Before Lightning, they chose Yuna. What is it with SQE and their poor choice of female characters to put front and center? They're not lacking in more interesting ones. They KNOW how to make interesting female characters (Fran, Lulu, Celes, Tifa, etc.,) so why is it always the weak link that gets her own game?

@da_post_office @nathangray Someone else mentioned this and while in some cases this is true, that's not the issue all the time. I never had my parents buying games for me, I had a job and went out and bought them myself. It's not like I had to pay rent at 13. And by the way I'm in my 20s, it wasn't that long ago. Point is, as it stands, a child doesn't need a parent to get whatever game he or she wants. A law like this will make this much harder. Sure, there will be parents who don't care just like there are parents who think it's perfectly fine to give their 8 year olds a hunting rifle to play with, but that doesn't speak to the majority.

Um, have you guys seen the stuff people pay for? How much got shelled out for a booger napkin Beiber used? This triflin' sock is probably the least offensive catcher of bodily fluids I've seen go to auction.

@Divad222 @simon1812 @J4m3sR4n0r72 Yep. Actually, this is how I buy my games even now, since my credit card instantly rejects anything from Steam due to numerous fraud complaints. Everything is done through paypal, which doesn't require anything save a savings account, something you can literally get while you're still in the womb.

Such a waste of money. Honestly, it won't do a damn thing even if it's implemented. Ironically if it did, I would support it wholeheartedly. I'm sure I'm not the only gamer that's tired of running into 12 and 13 year old trolltards. Not saying all of the younger gaming generation is like that (I was gaming at that age too but was a hell of a lot more mature) but I could do without the better majority. Point is, this wouldn't do anything that retailers and publishers aren't already trying to do. A big ol' red herring just to make the nub parents think the government actually gives a damn, meanwhile the rest of us are behind them snickering at the naivete.

I haven't even played the game, but I remember all the anger over Dante looking different (I think he looks better, personally) and knew this was going to happen before the game even launched. I'm sure the devs are taking it about as seriously as the rest of us are. Honestly Metacritic needs to be taken down, nothing good ever comes of it.

Never understood the fight between amd and nvidia fanboys. Really, I don't get it. I've owned both cards, sometimes of comparable gen on different computers. I generally just go for whatever gives me the best deal/is on sale at the time. I notice nothing different between them, they both offer me the same value and the same graphical power. The only thing I ever noticed was I had to install a fix to get widescreen support for KOTOR 1&2 with my AMD card, but it was also over $100 cheaper than the comparable nvidia card. Small bit of time and effort totally worth the price.

@Sling_Master @Slash_out Engineer has more attacks that Elementalist so no, they're not the only class with larger variety, and between two weapons and utility skills there is plenty of variation. It's not like that big list of skills disappears, you just can't change them while in battle and you can't use them all at once. It's functionally the same as GW1 where you can only change your skills in town, except GW2 lets you change your skill outside of any battle. It's in fact better. As for the amount of skills, the game is brand new, GW1 didn't launch with those hundreds of skills it has now. How people forget things so obvious is astonishing. I used to laugh at the GW2 fan boys that couldn't accept criticism, but now having played the game and reading a lot of this criticism, I get why they get so frustrated with people.

@lazycomplife It's b2p, you buy it once and then you have all the content. Only thing in the item mall is cosmetic crap and exp boosters, what is there to complain about?
