@ritjos71 @deathstream @eelektrik Its just good business sense if they run the resale platform that they take a cut. Sony will implement something similar if they don't run the platform they wont take a cut if they do the probably will...

@emperiox @natt39 Then you're not a party to the contract at all and have no right to sue. The law is firmly on their side here and it doesn't have to say on the case that its a licence only in the terms which most software does already... Hence End User LICENCE Agreement "EULA"

@torres_unix @Parkourscott Which is essentially what you can do here how much you get for the game probably isn't going to change much... How much you have to spend to buy the game might.

@emperiox @natt39 Kickstarter is for creative stuff only and all they have to do is world the EULA to state that you don't own the software only the licence to use it and they're free to do what they want. And you do "Sign" the ToS by using the game

@emperiox A Kickstarter wouldn't let you do that and B becuase the software is licensed not sold First Sale doesn't apply

@buccomatic @brownyyy @devak108 @natt39 Because I always get a full set. To limit yourself to one console is stupid. Each console has its advantages and exclusives and to limit yourself to just one is to cut your nose off to spite your face

Lets just do this simply

Is the console always connected?

Yes

I have to ask about used games. Will the box support used games and how is that model going to work?

Not without further payment

I think it was mentioned that all new games have to be installed.

Yes

Is there any kind of DRM or anything that's happening where you're prevented from playing a game, a single-player game even maybe, if you're offline?

Yes

Given that all games need to be installed, is a 500GB [hard drive]…that doesn't seem very big. I'm assuming some of the games are going to be pretty huge now coming on Blu-rays.

We feel that 500GB is enough (Tbh probably is)

Do I get to bring [my XBLA games] with me [to the Xbox One]?

No

So presumably you anticipate there being sort of a lot of support for the [Xbox 360] in terms of new XBLA releases and stuff…

We will continue to support the 360 for an indeterminate period.

Is the Xbox One being designed to support things like free-to-play games and maybe like episodic games and stuff like that?

Maybe

Don't get me wrong I'm still going to buy this thing but I wish they could give a straight answer.
