We were worried Sony might be a little thrown back with all the bad press the PlayStation 3 is receiving. I mean, changing the console’s management staff two weeks after the console was released isn’t the best of signs now, is it? Well, Sony stands strong behind its new console claiming the PlayStation 3 has even more processing power than it first claimed, and it’s harnessing the power to produce better games.

Sony also plans on releasing keyboard and mouse add-ons for the PlayStation 3, allowing users to browse the internet and use any third-party operating systems running on the console with ease. Holman stated the PS3 will receive several firmware upgrades as developers find new ways to utilize the consoles features. And if the rumors of the PS3 being the last Sony console caught your eye, don’t worry, Holman also mentioned PS4:

"To say that there will be no PS4 because of a management change is a bit far fetched"

It seems Sony’s goal is to not only transform the PS3 into a gaming console unlike any before it, but to also make the PS3 as strong of a media center for home theaters, as it is a gaming console. Hopefully in the near future we will finally start to see what the PlayStation 3 is capable of, until then, all we can do is wait.

The only thing about it is that it says.... PS4 in 2010.
The article mentions virtually nothing to support this claim in the article PS4. 2010 is pretty far in the future, and I'm sure that is just a ballpark number to begin with.
With that said this article is a good read.
The writer speaks about his impression of the PS3, and advantages the PS3 has over it's competitiors.

Read it for yourself, I wont say anymore about it!

Almost all of these complaints for the PS3 can be fixed by a system update, and I'm quite sure Sony is working on this as quickly as possible.
The only reason why I said "almost all of these" is because it's not clear weither the issue with the SixaxiS is a software or hardware problem. If it is in fact a software (and to some extent a hardware) conflict, it is VERY much possible to correct the problem with a system upgrade.
I hear and see people complain about the PS3 not being able to proform background tasks, and as this VERY article stated...
The 360 had the exact same problem which MS fixed the problem with a system update.
I'm really getting sick of this whole console bashing, for christs sakes these 2 consoles JUST came out.
This Fanboyism crap needs to stop.

Over at Wired.com is this article basically depicting the PS3 as having a lot of potential and that it doesn't show case what it can do as of now.
Of course the PS3 isn't showing it's full power right now, that's simply because developers are learning to program for it.
The PS3 has been out for only 2 weeks now, and people continue to s*** on the console and the reason why is almost always the price of the system.
This time next year, we will start to see the full force of the PS3.
The console has a lot of potential and I think in the next year, people will final stop s****** on the PS3 and start S****** on themselves.
