@gatsbythepig OR... disruptive in the fact that SteamOS is running Linux Dis. using OpenGL instead of WinOS and DirectX. Putting 50 Million Steam subs with access to it. Also Sony uses OpenGL so if devs start compiling for OpenGL as primary and port to DirectX ... Xbox and Windows has to innovate.

Giving Window OS and DirectX competition and forcing them to improve is awesome for us consumers!!! Disruptive tech all the way!

@shreddyz we do not know the specs and price point. As well as ease of use and full features. It IS aimed at the causal "console" consumer with a budget in mind I believe tho.

But with higher end models to suit them.

HDMI 1.4 will only run Active 3d at 1080 in 24 FPS.

HDMI 2.0 will run Active 3d at 1080 60 FPS!
