Am I to assume that this means his new studio didn't get a publishing deal from Sony?

Sorry for being a stick in the mud, but is it just me or is this whole 'pixel art' thing getting very rote and overused as of late...?

@mehrdad19872010 As lucrative as it may be for those big three companies from a purely technical perspective it just won't work, as playing games on consoles is a relatively long-term commitment. Consider this, the amount of time it takes for the machine to launch, the boot screens to fade (PS3 logo, Xbox logo, etc.), the menu to boot and the service to get logged into in tandem with the TV turning on and (considering you have a separate output for audio) the surround sound to turn on just to play a game that will likely hold your attention for five minutes to ten minutes at most doesn't make much sense.

Casual games fare much better in handheld systems, where the screen is small enough to ignore for a few seconds, and Laptops/PCs, due to the exponentially faster task switching.

"...this is a company that has a seriously good track record in taking over and changing entire industries."

Not always for the better.

@Quivox Yes, but surely you realize that the majority of the game's playerbase will use the traditional DualShock 3 for it?
