[QUOTE="DaLegendKilla92"]Honestly, in your position, I would get a Wii ( no fanboyin) since it has a better library than the PS3 currently and has a way smaller chance of breaking. Plus, you wouldn't feel guilty having 2 systems since the Wii is a good secondary console to pass the time and Smash Brawl is coming out soon. However, the PS3 does share some 360 games you might like, and has the Blu-Ray, but the PS3 is $400, and a $60 game to buy with it.....I wouldn't do it. Other than that, wait a month......lman013

WHOAAA THE WII LIBRARY FREAKIN SUCKS.... i hope u were joking, theeres like 3 good wii games...and im a wii owner and all the games suck besides zelda metriod and mario... MAN GO WIT HA PS3!!!!! I WASTED MY MONEY ON A WII!!!! GET A PS3 SERIOUSLY

Stop with the fanboy crap!

The PS3 is the superior of the two consoles. Not flaming, but speaking from experience. I just battled with the idea of trading in my 360 (i was ready to do it today) but decided that it just wasn't worth it. (Also, Lost Odyssey kept me on board). If you can afford it, get all 3 systems. If you can't, either stick it out with the 360 or sell it and pick up a PS3 or a Wii. I recommend both with every fiber of my being :)Staryoshi87

Thanks for the advice bro but I don't have that kind of money. Furthermore, if I did have that kinda of money I still wouldn't own all 3. I just dont play games that often. I like to be well rounded in my interests and If i owned all 3 systems I would turn into a hermit. Not good.

thats nuts, 3 xbox 360s is insane, where do your keep it in your house? Make sure all the vents get plenty of air. and dont play more than 8 hours at a time. if you and your brother share the system you could be overheating it alot; if your both serous gamers.Rynair9

Its in the open and gets plent of air. But dude, come on What the heck did we all pay 399 bones for? For a system that we have to walk on egg shells around? This is nuts. If you look at the system the wrong way, it breaks. If you breath wrong, its breaks. If you don't give it a hug and kiss every night, it breaks. How come this doesn't happen with any of my other electronic equipment? This is not ethical or right on MS's part!

I'm just so fed up. I may just sell my xbox360 when I get it back and not get another system until the next xbox comes out. Maybe by then it will be built better. I'm just so frustrated right now.

I'll keep you in my prayers. Look up the Wii though, PM me with which type of games you like and I will tell you what the Wii has. Honestly, I don't know much about the PS3 that you already don't know about. Don't give up yet.

Thanks for the advice but I dont really want the Wii...I can't see myself playing it all the much. To be honest I don't really want the PS3 as well. The only real system that I have interest in is the xbox360. However, its built like a piece of crap. I really have no other choice. I just dont have it in me anymore to deal with all of this crap every other month.

The next Xbox probably won't come out for a while. When did you get your 360?Zach68486

I got my first one when they first launched....very first night. That one lasted about a year. The next one last about 3 months. The one I have now has lasted about 2-3 months and now I have to send it in. This is just nuts. How can MS get away with doing this to customers? There has got to be some law or government agency that over looks these types of things.

get a wii to tide you over while your 360 is gone (repeatedly). i guess you just have bad luck. the wii is a great secondary system though, much better and more worth the investment than a ps3 which has many of the same games as the 360.TarzanTheMan

I have bad luck? lol. Are you kidding me? Eveyone that I personally know has had to send there system in at least once. I just dont understand how MS can feel good about selling us this system when they know there are problems with it. Pisses me off!

Guys, I just can't tell you how truly pissed I am right now. A few months ago I had to send in my xbox360 to get replaced because of the 3 rings of death and 6 months before that I had to do the exact samething. The current system I have right now which is my third, has been acting really odd the past few days. I haven't been getting the 3 rings of death but the system has been freezing on me while playing games.

Today I finally called customer support and they had me do all the trouble shooting steps. After completing all those steps they came to the conclusion that my system is broken and in need of repair. I almost hit the roof when the told me! Not only is this the third system that has died on me, now I have to wait another 3-4 weeks to get a repaired one back!! I don't know what to do...I'm just sooo pissed!

I LOVE my xbox360 to death but I just can't keep going through all this crap. It's insane! Never in my life have I owned such a faulty piece of electronic equipment. I never thought I would say this but I really feel forced into a corner, and feel that I need to sell my xbox360 when I get it back, and either go with a Wii or PS3. I truly feel I have no other choice.

Before all this happened, I really had no desire to get a PS3 other than maybe for a blue ray player and had zero desire for a Wii. However, I feel I have no other choice. I'm just so pissed and sad in MS becauae I love my xbox360 but it was just sooo poorly put together and has just to many problems. I just don't have the time or energy anymore to deal with all of this. Any of you guys have any suggestions on what I should do? Please no fanboy crap!

Hey Homer94, I was just wondering if you noticed any signs or warnings before you got the RROD? Did your screen freeze up? Did it show pixelated lines or whatever? Let me know, I was just wondering, so I would know the signs of RROD.

ReverseCycology

This time around I didn't get the 3 rings of death. My system just kept freezing on me while I was playing games. Everytime it would freeze on me and I would have to restart my system. The two consoles before this one I experienced the 3 rings of death

So you could get it repaired even if it hasn't RROD yet?

Yes, if it keeps freezing that means its not working. They will have you send it in for repair. Call them and get the ball rolling. It will take about 3-4 weeks to get it back. As for compensation and they will give you a free game that costs 19 bucks.
