9.5? I dont know about that...ide say it's generous to say the least. I have Halo3 and I must say, the single player campaign seems to be much better although very easy (people complained about easy bioshock...halo3 there are checkpoints every few steps and no penalty for death). I also invisioned the gravity hammer to be much cooler than it is. It is a stupid weapon IMO. Just a small aoe melee attack.
Also, on the multiplayer i was instantly like "wtf." There were a bunch of Halo2 maps in there. In that one commercial, it talks about the old things being gone and opening up to new things. Lies get me flustered.
Then there were the graphics. I thought they woulda been much better. They really do seem like slightly upgraded Halo2 graphics. Also, i thought the AI was supposed to be very good in this game. However, i can't tell you how many times i just walked up and headshotted something or melee killed it. What is with the lack of music too? This is supposed to be a drawpoint of halo. There isn't any music going on in the background in the story while you are fighting, at least at the start.
With all this said, it was still pretty fun as long as you don't play it for more than 2 hours at a time. Definitly a pickup for anyone with a 360...then again, this was known when the game was announced.
