[QUOTE="neversummer75"]

After spending a good amount of time watching and analyzing the new Halo 3 multiplayer video, I've come to the conclusion that I'm extremely worried about how the graphics are shaping up. I'm fully aware that the game was being shown in its alpha stage but in my mind I just can't accept that reasoning. Many games such as Mass Effect, Lost planet, MGS4, and Final Fantasy all have looked great, even when shown in their alpha stage of development.

In my opinion, although Halo 3 looks good, it's no where near any of the trailers and what I personally was expecting from a next generation title, let alone the next generation Halo being built from the ground up for the powerful xbox360. To me, it looks like a heavily modified Halo 2 in terms of graphics and that really disappoints me. I've always been loyal to MS, the Xbox systems and especially to the Halo games but as of now, in terms of graphics, I'm extremely disappointed. I only own an xbox360 and that will not change any time soon. I sure hope things will change by the time it's released. However, 6 months is not a lot of time to get the graphics polished and to where they need to be. I guess we shall see.

Judging from the video, I think the game play is coming together very nicely. The only really thing that bothers me about the online aspect to the game is the limit of 16 players. I was really hoping that the next generation Halo being built for such a powerful system (xbox360) would allow for more players. It just seems a little xboxish to me and not xbox360 quality. I wanted a step forward in all aspects of the game and in my opinion this is not. Most online FPS for the next generations systems allow for a lot more than 16 players. Even PDO allowed for 32 players. I just don't get it.

As I said before, I'm a MS, xbox360 and Halo fan. I only own an xbox360 and have been very critical of all other systems in the past. However, I'm honest enough to admit that in my opinion, while Halo 3's game play looks good, the graphics and animations look decent at best for a next generation title. I still have hope and faith in Bungie but as of now, I'm very worried. Only time will tell.

 The biggest complaints about Halo 2 were the story and gameplay. What has Bungie been working on for Halo 3? Story and gameplay (as shown by the vidocs). Coincedence? I think not.pundog

Wrong. Alot of people were not impressed with the graphics. The cut scenes had a lot of pop in and the graphics were nothing like the E3 demo that Bungie showed. A lot of people didnt not like the graphics.

It kinda makes me wounder if Bungie is pulling another Halo 2. I don't know if most of you remember or not but they really procrastinated and played catch up with Halo 2. I remember watching a special making of Halo 2 and all the big wigs at Bungie admitted that they waisted a lot of time when making Halo 2 and they to cram everything in the last 2 months to get everything done. They even admitted that Halo 2 wasn't all that it could have been due to the lack of using their time wisely and efficiently while making the game. I sure hope they aren't pulling that same crap with Halo 3. In terms of graphics, it kinda looks like they are doing just that. Waisting time and attempting to get it all done at the very last sec. Thoughts?

More players doesn't mean a better game. I think it's 16 players because that is the right amount for the gameplay in Halo. Unless you have huge maps I don't see the reason for anything higher than 16. The graphics are looking good not a huge improvement from last time but getting there. I don't have many worries that Halo 3 will be a great game given Bungie's track record. :D

PS3_3DO

I see your point however, Bungie has said that they wanted to make the maps bigger so that "Large Scale" battles could take place. So, they make large maps yet they only allow 16 players? Makes no sense to me.

By the end of May, we'll know how Beta is shaping up and therefore have a better idea of how this game will play out. I'm sure Microsoft will not allow Halo 3 to suck, they just can't afford Halo 3 to fail because they're banking a lot of their sucess on it.kayn83

 I would hope that MS would force the delay of the game rather than letting Bungie releasing it will average graphics. I aslo hope that Bungie finds a way to allow more than 16 players for online matches. Thats just a joke. Kinda makes me made. I would rather this game get delayed to make it amazing than to have it released in september and half done.

Only a fanboy would deny that the PS3 is clearly the best value.  Now they just need to come with some good exclusives to justify the purchase.JayPee89
i agree 100%. Altought I hate Sony and love the xbox360 and MS, if Sony could come out with some great games and have a online service close to what xboxlive is, I would switch in a heart beat. That BlueRay player is soooo tempting for me.
