You're asking how do you think the PC division survives.

Apart from the Sims franchise and WoW, I think games keep coming out for it since the PC is the safest to develop for. Considering the many pirated games, the illegal MMO servers and more sales on consoles, it is quite ironic.

But looking at the budget titles released on the PC, I think you can make blunders on that system, whereas on consoles, you only get one chance to really hit the industry.

Lets go back to E3 2006 for a moment, in gaemspots awards.

Best Graphics - Crysis.

Best Overall Game - Bioshock

Best Shooter - Quake Wars - Enemy Territory.

Now , not bashing, but where was Halo 3 if it was so amazing? , Its obvious its not impressing as much as it should, Im going to go ahead and predict a 9.0 at most, because its far from new to anyone, the story and the sheer number of online players will keep it alive for years however.

You weren't too impressed with Halo 2 - for being a short, uninspired sequal (apparently) - yet you're already hyping Halo 3 as "one of the greatest shooters come to man kind"?

Yeah, I can see what the TC is arguing - Halo fans really are going to instantly buy this game, even if it is crap.

I doubt that any FPS games will beat it in sales this gen, but as for beating it in quality...we'll have to wait and see. ;)

Much better to hype a game who's first two installments got AAA score's than to hype Killzone 2 who's first instalment got a floppy 6.9.
