@alaannn: What're you talking about? The settlements are so varied in purpose! Here's a breakdown:
1. Go to a settlement and talk to someone there. He or she will tell you to kill everything inside a place, like Ghouls or Mutants. You'll get very small XP rewarded when you return, and when you do, you'll be told to clear out another area you already cleared out. This will happen indefinitely and forever a million times.
2. You can throw a bunch of paintings and couches and other shit inside of a shack. Even a large shack!
3. You can use turrets to kill raiders trying to steal your Corn! Isn't that fucking awesome?!
4. You can sleep and rest there. WAY better than sleeping or resting in real life.
I could go on forever about how much I freaking LOVE Bethesda's idea of making settlements the major update in the game. I'm overjoyed they put this much emphasis and resources into making this. I'm so glad they did this, and removed that awful Karma system, thoughtful dialog choices, interesting and multi-varied factions, and the multiple endings.
@Myron117: No dummy, I have tried the Vive and Rift. What I was saying was why should I spend so much damn money for BS indie small experiences? Isn't PC supposed to blow us out of the water with AAA games? The games they played were dumb demo games. And people talk shit about PSVR having nothing but indie demo trash...
I'm really curious to see what ND does next. They've been doing the same thing for decades. I kinda feel like they've hit their apex with U4.
That said, looking at Guerrilla deviate from Killzone's bland first person bro shooter franchise and into Horizon's third person high narrative exploratory nature, I'd like to see ND do something else as well. I'm sure TLOU 2 is next, but what then?
@PS2fweak: Yeah I read that article. I've followed the game for years. Seeing as how the game comes out almost six months before PSVR, I highly doubt it will be VR compatible at this point. Sucks. I'm probably going to be bitching about it for quite a while, it's the only compensation I receive after throwing years of my free time away trying to keep tabs on a game.
