So Wiiware launched yesterday and I've spent just about very waking hour since its launch playing FFCC or LostWinds. So far I've finished LostWinds. My only real complaint is that it is too short. I beat in less than 2 and a half hours. >_> For more of my thoughts on LostWinds I've got a review you could read. :) I can't wait for that sequel. ;)
I think I'm closing in on completing FFCC's main quests. So far I've got just about every building type (at least I think so, I might have all of them) and I'm absolutely addicted. I have over 100 days in the game so far. I spent 1400 points on extra content and I think that the $29 (total) I spent on this game was absolutely worth it. Anyone on the fence about it should get it. You won't regret it.
Basically you manage your town by walking around talking to people, funding shops and other buildings for research, building buildings, and issuing quests for your adventurers. Performing these actions requires either elemencite (used for building) or tethes (used as money for issuing quests or funding research). To get elemencite, you'll need to have your adventurers complete some quests. To issue some quests, you'll need tethes so you can issue then. To get Tethes, you need houses so you can tax them. And there's your income circle... you need one resource to get the other, and vice versa...
If you're an RTS fan, you'll probably like this game as much as I do. FFCC is not an RPG and it really doesn't have too many RPG elements.
Anyway, I'll talk to everybody later. :)
