nintendofreak_2 Blog

Sorry about the second blog today...

But I think I have slain the monster. Quite a fight that bugger put up. I hope he stays dead this time. >_>

Also I just got a new emblem. :o And what an honorific one it is!

Those who rank amongst this hallowed 100 greatly benefit those searching for critical information about games. These individuals' thoughtful, analytical reviews tend to be much more detailed and sophisticated than most of the so-called professional game reviews you could find elsewhere. Sure enough, the top 100 tend to be prolific writers and avid game players.

Guess you guys better start reading my reviews more often. :P

Let me show u my Pokemans!

I now have Darkrai. 8)

:o Oh! But what's this? He has....

Spacial Rend and Roar of Time? Surley it is hacked no?

Nope. It is legit. It came in a pokeball called a Cherish Ball, which is proof that it is from a Nintendo event. Also the Trainer ID is ALAMOS which my friend told me is the city in which the Pokemon Movie Rise of Darkrai is based in. The Rise of Darkrai is also the name of the event so everything makes sense when you think about it.

I had a nerdgasm when I saw a poster showing Darkrai's info, well the moveset in particular. :P

I wish I had pics, but my camera has become obselete and won't take a quality pic anymore. :(

New sig + Other stuff

I don't want any comments or ratings cause you guys are always really mean. :P

Anyway I've got 4 days until I'm off for summer break. 8) Then after this Friday over the weekend I'm going to go get my Darkrai that has eluded me for so long.

As for my summer plans... well I don't have many. :P The only things that are set in stone (for gaming at least) is that I'll be playing and hopefully finished Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced 2 for most of the summer, along with LostWinds speed runs (current record is 1 hour and 26 minutes and I know I can beat that). After I get bored doing those, I will probably be too busy thinking about all of the stuff announced at E3 to want to play anything for a couple days. Speaking of E3, I'll be on basically that entire week so it'll be like the good ole days. ;) Afterwards I might pick up FF4 for the DS, I haven't decided yet.

As for non-gaming things, I know I'll be hanging out with my friends a few times (yes believe it or not I do have friends outside of da intawebz).

Other things I'll be doing would be working out a bit more to get in better shape (not that I really need to anyway).

Well that's about it. :).....:?.....(quit staring at me >_>)

Wiiware stuff *LostWinds review* *FFCC impressions*

So Wiiware launched yesterday and I've spent just about very waking hour since its launch playing FFCC or LostWinds. So far I've finished LostWinds. My only real complaint is that it is too short. I beat in less than 2 and a half hours. >_> For more of my thoughts on LostWinds I've got a review you could read. :) I can't wait for that sequel. ;)

I think I'm closing in on completing FFCC's main quests. So far I've got just about every building type (at least I think so, I might have all of them) and I'm absolutely addicted. I have over 100 days in the game so far. I spent 1400 points on extra content and I think that the $29 (total) I spent on this game was absolutely worth it. Anyone on the fence about it should get it. You won't regret it.

Basically you manage your town by walking around talking to people, funding shops and other buildings for research, building buildings, and issuing quests for your adventurers. Performing these actions requires either elemencite (used for building) or tethes (used as money for issuing quests or funding research). To get elemencite, you'll need to have your adventurers complete some quests. To issue some quests, you'll need tethes so you can issue then. To get Tethes, you need houses so you can tax them. And there's your income circle... you need one resource to get the other, and vice versa...

If you're an RTS fan, you'll probably like this game as much as I do. FFCC is not an RPG and it really doesn't have too many RPG elements.

Anyway, I'll talk to everybody later. :)

I'm detaching myself from Gamespot

Some people might call it 'leaving' but really I'm just becoming permanently less active. I'll still check on every now and then to see you guys though, so don't be sad. :)

I am resigning from officer status in all of my unions. I do hope that NDU, NR, and TEBU do well without me around, and the same goes to all of my other unions I am a member of.

Anyway, I'd like to thank everyone here at GS that has put up with me for the past 2 and a half years. I hope all of you enjoy your time here at GS.

100th Blog Post.

Happy Gaming. :)

What I Got

So I got my b-day stash today. Here's what I got.

8G ipod Touch

Case for the ipod

2 Wii points cards

A basketball

2 pairs of wool socks (absorbs sweat from my feet so I don't get blisters)

I was expecting an ipod nano 8G, but my parents really surprised me with the touch. Right now I'm watching Family Guy from my ipod. :P I'm never going to bring it to school though. I will not risk getting it stolen. Tuesday (which is my birthday) I'm going out with some friends after school to hang out.
