I felt like uploading this because it looked pretty cool, I just screwed up on colouring in the wings.
I did another picture without colour but his head looks too big on the other one.

All done! Though I have another piece of Art Homework to do, and Biology Homework, AND Maths Homework. Bio and Maths are simple but Art might take a while, I'm slow at drawing things.
Anyway I watched the Disney Channel Games Part 1 and there was a featurette about Ashley Tisdale's "condition". She's actually shorter in real life than she is on TV, and she's a part of SAA, Short Actors Annonymous, even though a picture showed her, Vanessa, Cole and Dylan together, so not really anonymous. It doesn't matter Ashley, I still love you!
It seems I can't change the letter size of this post, damned glitch.
Torchwood last night on BBC THREE. Man, that was a great episode. Definatly the darkest so far of the season, well acted and gripping. The Cyberwoman was an interesting variation of Doctor Who's Cybermen, and there are hints that the evil metal foes of The Doctor may make a comeback in the near future...
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I'm back in School, the realm of homework and ties and calculators. Oh well, Drama was a blast today (What a hideous saying, what a blast) and all the other lessons were quite good too. Who's replaced my teachers with nice clones?
On a better note, I copied my cousin's Kingdom Hearts II Save File so I can fight Sephiroth all I want, I'm getting pretty good at beating him but I still lose now and again. On Proud Mode I played on Beast's Castle for a bit, meh I guess, I haven't finished that world yet, it's harder to beat the Large Body Heartless on this and I've been levelling Final Form and Summons on my Beginner Mode Save.
Also GameSpot seems a bit glitchy today, everything from the drag down box in the top right hand corner has gone, yet everything is in my Tracked Games list on my profile. People have been losing emblems too, mysterious...
On I roll with my Art research..... Joy.
I went up 5% today when I came on here, but I haven't done anything on Gamespot except for 2 or 3 posts. I come on again now and I go up another 5% and all I did earlier was watch 30 seconds of Gamespot On The Spot and 2 more posts. What gives eh? Oh well.
Depending on whether I go down my cousin's house or not, I may not be online as much or at all this weekend. If I don't go down my cousins then I'll hopefully post a review or two, haven't done on in a while.
Also: Today's the first day of the Disney Channel Games in the UK, OK, I know the Blue Team wins but it'll fun to watch, especially seeing Ashley Tisdale.
I took my nearly all of Monday but I FINALLY finished my music video. It's not great, it's a bit of a mish mash of stuff but I'm just happy to have done one, it could've been worse. It's a lot of Kingdom Hearts II clips to the catchy Boss Battle music of Final Fantasy VII.
Here y'are: http://uk.gamespot.com/users/nirvanaphoenix/video_player.php?id=ICY1wzav5bgPvj7W
Anyways I couldn't come on the computer yesterday so I couldn't upload it, I had problems doing it on Monday but now I've finally uploaded it for the world to see! Please make a comment on it!
I'll probably do more music vids in the future, and I'll try and make my scene cuts a bit better with effects and cutting at good times, this vid ended up with lots of long clips and a couple of 2 second clips in between.
See if you can spot Marluxia during the Roxas vs Axel battle, he appears for about half a second. If you can find him, tell me what time he appears.
Anyway (I gotta stop saying that) I continued with Kingdom Hearts II yesterday, I did The Land Of The Dragons and as I predicted, hot murderised by those Assault Riders. Damn they're tough. Plus I got killed by Shan Yu's falcon, then King Mickey came to the rescue! I had totally forgotten about that, it never happened to me on Beginner Mode. Mickey rocks!
Apart from that, not much more to add, I did the other Gummi Route with ease (they're harder on Beginner Mode) and levelled up Valor Form a bit.
I picked up the UK X-Men mag the other day, they have just started printing Joss Whedon's Astonishing X-Men, it's a great improvement over New X-Men and I've started collecting again. This has led to me playing X-Men Legends again and many failed bids on eBay for X Men Legends II Rise Of Apocalypse. Damm people who have computers that work faster than a snail's pace, this machine is as slow as uhhhhhhhh something slow!
I can't beleive I just actually PURCHASED Final Fantasy VIII. I've read about the story and the characters and they are all alright but the battle system....
It looks horrible and I doubt I'll ever grasp it. You have GFs and you have to junction them... WTF? It all looks so stupid and confusing. But I've bought it now, I guess I would've eventually.
And after my birthday and christmas I'll be able to buy Final Fantasy I & II Dawn Of Souls, Final Fantasy IV Advance and (if it's released) Final Fantasy VI Advance. And Dirge Of Cerberus Final Fantasy VII as well.
I haven't got a DS for Final Fantasy III and I don't think I'll ever buy FFV, then again, I thought that about VIII, but I guess that a (mostly) complete collection and the praising from my cousin and Arusu666 were reasons for finally buying it.
BTW, it was Black Label, Complete and for 12 quid. Bargain. Maybe I should pick up Black Label FFX and FFIX as well.
I haven't played on Kingdom Hearts II so I haven't updated the Proud Mode Journal. I've been too busy AP tarining my new Eiko on my 50th odd playthrough and first playthrough for a while on Final Fantasy IX. I can't wait to fight Hilgigars and try stealing from him, then again I can't wait to fight those centaur spear holding things on KHII Proud Mode either.
BTW is the last name Leonhart EVER mentioned INGAME on Final Fantasy VIII? I was thinking of calling him Leon.
First of all, Nirvana Phoenix is a Phoenix Down no longer! And secondly, I've been adding people to my tracking list but no one's adding me back, so if you're reading this add me to your tracking list.
Before I start doing my Journal I just like to say that I've been watching videos of Ozma, Emerald and Ruby WEAPON battles on YouTube and now my desire to beat those SuperBosses has never been stronger. On Final Fantasy VII all I need to do is train for a bit, levelling up Final Attack and Phoenix.
On Final Fantasy IX however, I have to finish Disc 2 and 3 first and I just got out of Fossil Roo. My Zidane is at Level 23 and I haven't been training much at all. I was Level 18 before the Festival Of The Hunt in Disc 1 so I could get a good Freya. My Steiner is also overlevelled at Level 28 but he's left me now, oh well. Of all my playthroughs of IX the Outer Continent part has been my least favourite part of the game, until I get Amarant anyway.
Anyway onto my Kingdom Hearts II Proud Mode Journal. I don't know why I'm doing this, I guess this record is as much for me as anyone else who's reading this. The purpose of me doing Proud Mode is for a challenge, Beginner Mode is easy (apart from Sephiroth, hey I was level 65 and he did Shadow Flare then Descend Heartless Angel on me) and I just wanted to see the story. Now I want to play this game on Proud Mode to experience a challenge and unlock the secret movie. And beat Sephiroth on Proud Mode.
Day 1: Thursday 12th October 2006
First of all I began the game (obviously) on Proud Mode, did all the tutorial stuff on Day 1 (Of Roxas' summer holidays) and created my Save File. Hurrah! For my first battle of Proud Mode I have to admit that I whooped Seifer's ass better than I ever did in Beginner Mode (I did Beginner just so I could see the story, I always do that with a game) and went onto Day 2.
For the first time ever, I actaully DID Bumble Buster and Grandstander as Roxas. I got the best pay from very job and the day automatically finished when I got 2000 munny. Damn Riku for stealing it.
I trained from Level 1 to Level 4 in the Station Of Serenity on Day 3 and Scan really helped against Twilight Thorn, I can't stand not knowing how much HP a boss has got left. The group of Dusks were the most annoying part of that boss fight, their pop-up kicks are painful.
I levelled up against Seifer in the Back Alley then went on with the story. The Struggle was easy, well I had beaten Hayner, Setzer and Seifer with 200 Orbs on Beginner. Axel was fun though.
The Seven Wonders was easy, not worth mentioning. On the final day I levelled up to 7 and entered the Mansion, where I was a few experience points away from being Level 8. Axel was a really cool battle, ploughing into him with Oathkeeper and Oblivion was great fun. He didn't stand a chance.
Went to Yen Sid's Tower. Levelled up to 8 at the Station and up to 9 in the tower. Man, Sora's new outfit is amazing, I know I've seen it through my other playthrough but it just looks soo much betetr than his first costume. I've learned to love the Skip Scene option, Yen Sid's lecture is tedious. "An alarming amount of Dusks, you will face" he says, as if.
In Hollow Bastion, my favourite world, Sora grew to Level 10. I got to muck around with the Duel Stance Reaction Command while Leon was fight the Creeper Nobodies. To finish up I did the Asteroid Sweep thing to open up the path to The Land Of The Dragons. I actually found that Gummi Mission fun. That's a first but the annoyance factor of Gummi mission will return. I saved on the World Map and finished up. Hurrah! Part I is done.
Since my birthday's coming up I get to buy Dirge Of Cerberus Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy I & II Dawn Of Souls and Final Fantasy IV Advance. Loads more Fantasy fun instore then! Also I'm getting X Men III The Last Stand on DVD and the High School Musical Soundtrack. Too bad I have to go to school, every year bar this one my birthday has been during the half term holidays. Oh well.
When I was a kid I loved Disney, who didn't? But as I grew up the love had gone, apart from the odd Pixar film (The Incredibles, Finding Nemo), Pirates Of The Caribbean The Curse Of The Black Pearl and the odd episode of That's So Raven I hadn't seen fifty times over.
Then I got Disney Channel and while all the shows (Raven, The Suite Life, Emperor's New School etc.) were great, it just wasn't Disney.
If it wasn't for the fact I love Final Fantasy games, heard a new Final Fantasy VII title was coming out, I never would've bought the gem that is Kingdom Hearts (In 2006, believe it or not). I just wanted to see all the old Final Fantasy VII characters in fully voiced 3D.
Though there were a couple of strange celebrity voice choices (Lance Bass as Sephiroth, Mandy Moore as Aerith), the Final Fantasy cameos are the reason I bought Kingdom Hearts, but instead of just rekindling my love for FFVII, I fell in love with Disney all over again.
Now, with Kingdom Hearts II out, I want to re watch even more Disney Classics, and that made me realise how important Disney is in the world of entertainment (and the world itself). For me, I've got Disney in my PlayStation 2 (Kingdom Hearts II, Kingdom Hearts), my Stereo/MP3 Players (High School Musical Soundtrack), on TV (Disney Channel), my DVD Player (Pirates Of The Caribbean Curse Of The Black Pearl, soon to add Dead Man's Chest, High School Musical, Hercules and The Emperor's (and Kronk's) New Groove) and if I listened to the Radio, then Capital Disney would be on.
So I'd just like to thank the Square Enix and Buena Vista Games staff for making a great series of games and rekindling my love for Disney (and Final Fantasy ,VII in particular, it makes me want to play Final Fantasy VIII even!). Keep the Final Fantasy charm and Disney magic in the next Kingdom Hearts sequel!
Being my first Gamespot blog, why would I make it about anything other than games? Games I want to buy and play endlessly to death, games I want to play so I can finally finish or just great gems I haven't played on for ages. I guess I'll include What I'm Playing Now as well.
First of alll; What Games I'm Looking To Buy
On the top of my list is none other than Kingdom Hearts II, I guess you could tell by my current banner (Cloud and Sephiroth locking swords in combat), having played the first one to death and the trailers starting to pop up here in Wales (and the rest of the UK) my excitement for this game is rapidly growing.
How can anyone not like the Kingdom Hearts series? Rhetorical question by the way. Being a Final Fantasy fan (even though I've never played FFXI Online for the X Box 360 or whatever it's on, PS2 pwns all X Box consoles, I've never played VIII either, but I'll get round to it, come to think of it, I haven't played I-VI either) as well as someone who enjoys most Disney films (The Rescuers NOT Included) and animation is reason enough to at least rent it and return it late.
There's something about Kingdom Hearts that appeals to people like me; it could just be the Japanese-ness to it, or the characters that are so well designed and fleshed out through a well-woven plot and spot on Voice-Acting (Voices make the game/film/show, according to me) or the wonderful music that you can never get out of your head. I'm expecting great things from Kingdom Hearts II, I've heard great things too, but I've also heard the plot is confusing and dangles on the edge of stupidity, well I'll form my own opinion of it, when it's finally released here in good old Wales.
Next up is one that's received, shall we say varied comments and has been tuned up a lot since it's original Japanese release. It's Dirge Of Cerberus Final Fantasy VII also for the PlayStation 2. Starring Vincent Valentine in his own Devil May Cry-esque shooter. Having recently completed Devil May Cry 3 I'm looking forward to this, as well as Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition which is actually getting released in these shores, believe it or not. Can't wait to play as Vincent and Vergil, but from what I've seen on Youtube, Mae Whitman's voice in the role of Yuffie is disastariffic, that counts for Dirge and KHII.
To comprehend Kingdom Hearts II's complicated story, I'm going to need to purchase Kingdom Hearts Chain Of Memories for the GameBoy Advance. I was going to buy this anyway but now I have a better reason. I guess Final Fantasy VIII can be put on my list but I'm going to lend that of my cousin first.
That's all for my wish list, now on to: Games I have that I want to play (and hopefully finish)
How many games are sitting on your shelves just waiting for you to finish them but you never get round to? I have quite lot. Some like Crash Tag Team Racing, Prince Of Persia The Warrior Within (Which I've barely touched), DragonBall Z Budokai Tenkaichi (Ultimate Battle Mode) and Dynasty Warriors 5 Xtreme Legends (Legend Mode and Destiny Mode costumes) I couldn't give a rat's behind about.
I'm determined about finishing Crash Twinsanity (sooo close to completing it), Viewtiful Joe (who's dust-gathering days are over!) and all of the Jak & Daxter trilogy; Jak & Daxter The Precursor Legacy, Jak II Renegade (my data got wiped) and Jak 3 (soo close, as with Jak & Daxter) because these are all great games and I want to finish them and rest in peace. (Plus Dante on Viewtiful Joe will be ace)
While I could go and do it in a couple of minutes at any time I want to finish Final Fantasy VII, as well as beat Emerald WEAPON and Ruby WEAPON.
I must also finish Dragon Quest The Journey Of The Cursed King
On to What I'm Playing Now
While I'm not playing anything right now (I'm writing this blog y'see) games I'm currently playing include:
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance (recently began playing again), Final Fantasy IX (so many good memory's, too bad my best data has gone missing, but it's more fun to start again), Final Fantasy VII (see above), Devil May Cry 3 (recently finished, woot woot), Digimon Rumble Arena 2 (with my 6 year old brother, he loves it), Dragon Quest The Journey Of The Cursed King and Viewtiful Joe.
So while some of you may think this blog has no purpose, I totally agree with you. J/K. I never written a blog before, and picking a topic like this seemed easy enough before I start doing editorials (So what do KOEI need to do to make Dynasty Warriors good? etc.) and the like. Of course if you want to try blackmailing and/or stalking me and find this may be helpful then I'm glad too (whose that out the window?).
See ya next time [insert witty phrase here]
