I never played Super Mario World on the Snes and played it for the first time on the Wii.  I felt that World had more depth AND it's $27 cheaper.  That's insane!

Don't buy the ones that give you a free game. I tried to return my 360 after seeing a better deal from a different place, and we went through so much trouble with it. Took about 4 days to get Circuit City to own up and refund my money.nyoroism

Large Open HD sandbox games have been shown to be no problem with Crackdown.  How many FMV scenes have you ever seen in a sandbox game?

That's why all the Xbox games work 100% on the 360 now.  Simple firmware update.

True and 2 years is far too long for the PS3 to wait before it starts getting decent sales. Developers will have abandoned the system long before that if the userbase isn't large enough for them to make a profit on and the potential for profit is greater on the others systems.

PS3 is doing better then the 360 or PS2 in the same time frame so what makes you think that its not selling well?, also remember that PS3 is yet to come out in Europe.

from next month onwards we will start seeing great amount of fantastic games coming out for PS3, I wont be surprised if PS3 sold around 4-5 million by end of May

The PS3 might be doing better than the 360 did last year, but not by enough to catch up without things changing.

It's probably alot less then that. No case, no remote, no DVD drive, no mother board (PS3 board supplies that)... They are only using the chips and thats it. There like what? $20-$30 now a days? Maybe even less then that.

$750 or so cost to make a $600 PS3 - $30 = $720 to make a $600 PS3.

Even 1 cent times 3 million units = $30,000 saved.

The fact that Sony hasn't released any details is a lousy move no matter how you look at it.  I've posted this in other threads, but I'll post it in this one to.  Until there are firm details, it would be foolish to make such a large purchase.  Wait until the dust settles.

That's a joke and you know it.  I can prove it too.  During Christmas Amazon sold discounted 360's and sold them out within a minute.

The graphics might not be nearly as current, but the game is going to cost $10.  Shouldn't it be rated as a $10 purchase?
