Oh these guys...but funny they bought up their supposed rivalry since a few years, Nolan was in practically every big game released, and now it's Troy who's in every big game being released.
Boxy/square graphics? Really? Funny, I never noticed any square-looking graphics in any of the videos I've watched of this game so far...
But I wish people would appreciate gameplay over graphics...speaking of which, the gameplay for this game looks pretty awesome so far, so there, that's me set.
Personally, this was one of my favourite episodes in the series- that chase scene near the start was probably my favourite action segment (closely followed by the bar fight with Grendal in Episode One), and it makes sense that it was tied up with a big conversation with the whole town, because if the whole episode was just an action sequence it wouldn't have been very balanced out.
And a lot of the choices made me feel really uncomfortable in trying to decide what was the best course of action, especially as I'd been playing Bigby as the righteous sheriff- when I made my final decision regarding the Cooked Man and you're told 'Fabletown will remember this', it reminds you that not everything's been tied up in a nice bow. Especially with the very last conversation, how it just ends after you choose to go after her or just let her go.
I'll take slower-paced rhythmic combat any day, thank you. And plenty of blood-letting and Orc decapitations- will suit my bloodthirsty style just fine. :p
Saw a couple Let's Plays of this on Youtube over a year ago, and was really impressed with how it was put together.
Personally I don't see it as a horror game- more like an interactive story/tragedy with some horror/other-world elements thrown in. It does a fantastic job of depicting someone in the grip of depression too, and some of the 'parasites' you encounter are just absolutely horrific, but you can imagine them existing in the real world.
Have to agree with Cam- I seriously doubt using a controller to control and fire a virtual gun would help you in using a real-life firearm (which have kinds of moving parts to consider and can be quite heavy too), as there's a lot more involved than lining up the crosshairs and firing.
But yes, GTA V coming out has just become another excuse for the tabloids to bring up the old videogames and violence thing. I really want to go out and knock some journalist skulls together.
