I was wondering if anyone had played this on both 360 and PC. I bought the game on 360 prior and have just not had a chance to get around to it yet (much, I'm a few missions in). Now that I've built a nice new gaming PC, I would be able to max the graphics on it. With current trade in values at Best Buy, I can get that swap 360 to PC for sum total of <$5.

I was wondering, does the game look that much better on PC? Do I gain anything else that would be worthwhile by having it on PC?

I wish my backlog was that short.

Go with Metro man, da hell you waiting for?

BattleSpectre

It's not that short at all.... I just limited the choices here because you have to focus a little. Alright, looks like it might be Metro. Friggin Borderlands took more time than I thought tonight. Chain quests all over so there ended up being more than I expected.

Oh, I totally forgot about Sleeping Dogs. Been hearing a lot about that lately too.

About to FINALLY finish my first playthrough of Borderlands 2 and completed The Walking Dead today, so I've managed to clean up 2 games on the backlog. I can't decide what next, so I'll let you guys help me make that decision.

Darksiders (assume I should start with 1, but have 2 as well)

Hitman Absolution (got about halfway through and my completionist nature is making this game take WAY too long)

Mark of the Ninja

Metro 2033

Sine Mora

Warhammer 40k Dawn of War (1 or 2? assumed I would just play 2 and that story doesn't have much continuity)

The Witcher 2

Closure

Binding of Isaac

I think I'll limit the list to that right now.

i did some googling and theres been talk that its being made as DLC. One of hoyts men can be heard saying "at least this isnt the island with the dinosaurs" I say we keep creating commotion bout it, give them some motivation. Santeriaxx420
Every time I hear it, my mind makes me think it is a Jurassic Park reference. The mercs are even wwearing the same colors as the guys at the beginning of the 1st movie if I remember right. That said, a JP license would be kinda awesome......

I was just wondering if anyone else feels this game is better when you mod it? At least from a single player, levelling perspective I think the game is much better when I don't have to worry about money or which green weapon is better, etc. The search every inch of every place for 10 mins between every firefight started to grate on me. Now that money isn't an issue, I can ignore white and green items and just look for the occasional weapon locker instead. Makes the game better...... at least for me.

**I understand the impact on level 50 co-op portions, that's not what I'm discussing.

I just built a new PC, but most of my games were actually installed on a different drive. I just hooked this drive up in the new PC. I can play the games off the drive, but they are clearly not in the registry, etc. Is there any way to get them to register so that they are searchable in Win 8 without re-installing them all? Just curious if I could save myself the time somehow.

What's the person you're buying it for planning on using it for? I ask because for many purposes handled by a laptop in this range, a tablet could be a serious contender and some usability and portability may be gained with it (eg: loving my new Surface for MANY of the tasks I used to use my laptop for and I can tote it around work and into and out of patient rooms much more easily).

My impulse buyer decided to complete the purchase. Should all be here Thurs-ish. Now I just have to hide the build from the GF **whistles**

Just makes me wish some of the games I'd bought on console because my old PC wouldn't have handled them well would have been bought on PC instead (eg: Battlefield 3). I'm also gonna look into hooking it up to my home theater at times because.... 65" of 3D beauty from 8ft away and surround sound with a nice couch.

Old PC

Core 2 duo E6600 (forget what I OCed it to because I did it a few years ago and its not accessible at this hour)

8800GTX (which died, replaced with a GTX260 for probably 2-3 years and then a 6870 just a few months ago cause I saw it for $130)

4gb Corsair RAM (played with timings on it a bit, again a long time ago and don't remember off the cuff what they were)

Sooooo, I'm thinking this should be a pretty substantial upgrade :)

The confusion may stem from the fact that there are 2 versions of Explorer on the tablet. There is a "Desktop" IE and a Metro (Win Phone/Zune/8 format) IE. The Metro IE launched from the tiles has a "curated" integration of Flash (essentially meaning that MS has to approve the website's use of Flash). Considering MS has a strong financial interest in Facebook, my gut feel says that Flash is enabled. Even if it were not, the Desktop IE will run Flash on any webpage you want to. The Surface is more than powerful enough to run Farmville considering I can have it multitask watching an HD Netflix movie with a docked messenger client.

I would be stunned if Farmville was a crippling thing for it ;)
