It's what they showed in this win (in addition to it being a big game). They showed they could pass well enough to sustain drives and win games through the air, they showed their D could do what it's been doing, they showed they could come from behind, etc.

So yes, a big win (it practically guarantees us a playoff spot), but I liked it just as much for all these other things it showed.

Sorry haters, you lose. Gotta believe now. We showed we could get it done in every facet.

For those of you that didn't watch the game, it was (as is usual for this rivalry) a great one that came a lot closer to the wire than the score would indicate.

Someone recently watched about half my playthrough of Dead Space. She seemed to enjoy it like it was just a long movie.... watched part of it through her sweater :)

I had to crack open the case of my original component output to get it to fit while I have in an HDMI cable. I needed the optical since my HDMI goes to a 4x2 switcher to make my projector vs TV selection easier.

Posted this in another thread on the movie, figured I'd copy it in here too.

It was terribly edited. Each scene felt as if it were cut off early and the next was entered too late. Characters jumped in and out of the story. It's biggest problem was DEFINITELY a lack of any sense of flow.

[QUOTE="ottumatic"]Well we could start off by laughing at your foolishness. You could just ask if there is any strong language in-game without coupling the fact you're christian. TheWampaKing

er no. I said it cause i didnt want a bunch of "Why?"s.

To answer your question: Yes, there's language. I just saw the F-word scawled in blood on a wall. That's a pretty strong image, language aside.

To address your actual statement though: You created more whys than if you had just asked by associating the Christian thing. The 2 have nothing to do with each other. Nowhere in the bible does it state "Though shalt not use 4-letter words". You use that "I am a Christian" phrase like most others who use it; as a way of differentiating yourself and supposedly putting yourself on some moral pedastal. Ironically, religion and its associated politics are responsible for some of the greatest tragedies in our history. Some moral pedastal huh? I suggest you go watch Religulous. People like you are the type who need to watch it, but probably won't. There are some very opposing depictions in the movie. If all relgious people were as tolerant and open-minded as the Vatican priests they interview, then I would have no qualms. Unfortunately, the vast majority belong instead to the mindless "flock of God": they tend to side towards the more narrow-minded and ignorant depiction.

There are very few games I go back and play. I tend to move on once I have completed the main storyline. I am the type of gamer that tends to play for novelty. I like new story elements, new levels, new weapons, etc. Once I have seen all those things that a game has to offer my inclination is to move on to something else. There is a rare game that keeps me coming back (COD4, Rock Band, etc), but if a game tends to be story-driven it gets its once through and that's it.

If I didn't have the disposable income that I do, this might be different. As it stands though, I tend to have more disposable income than time and therefore focus on getting the maximal time to entertainment value from my games. That peak value tends to be on the 1st playthrough, the rest is fluff.

Forgot to mention on my original post: I NEVER trade in my games. 2 reasons: A) I like the shelf full of fantastic games and B) I don't want to support the industry leeches and their used games business.

Most of the problems are not so much glitchy, but polish problems. Repetitive dialog, repetitive missions, etc can get on your nerves after a while. That's not really a tester problem. This game reminds me a lot of how I felt about Assassin's Creed. There's a good game there that can be well tolerated in small doses, but the overall gameplay can get fairly repetitive. I enjoy it in spurts, but long sessions will get ya.

I don't like sharp's color, in general. Bravias just have better color... simple as that.coasterdude33

I agree with this one. I worked in electronics sales for a while and this always messed with my head. Color is always somewhat adjustable, but the Sharp's always tended towards the brown spectrum... everything was Gears of War!

The particular movies you are watching also make a big difference. There are some discs which are considered reference quality (best of the best) and there are others that are considered to be no better than the standard DVD. It's all in the transfer and that's an important consideration.

Then there's calibrating your TV properly. All the Pixar movies have a built in calibration slideshow that you can use to obtain a pretty satisfactory, non-professional setup.
