Because if they hadn't split, then they couldn't have done the reuniting scene, which was probably the single best part of the entire movie?

Didn't care much for Ep 7, but have higher hopes for Ep 8. If any of the new trilogy are going to be decent films, that's the one to bet on.

Seven (not counting time-travel doubles). Seven Flashes in one-two-three seasons. Ah ah ah ah ah! <cue lightning and thunder in background>.
