A Change

It was necessary, I had to do it, and I did. I changed my Profile around a bit. As you can see, I changed my Profile image there, at the same time as changing my banners, both of them. In my Journal banner, that's my new Guild's cape from Guild Wars. I'm hoping to make a couple cool new things soon, and with the Fall game lineup finally starting to come out, I'll be making more reviews and such hopefully soon. Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy!

Nightfall Update 3

9.22.06
5:55 PM CST

I just got done with playing almost six hours STRAIGHT of Guild Wars Nightfall. Soon after I posted that last update, Guild Wars QUICKLY released a new patch. We were almost immediately playing again, and running quite smoothly. The game is absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, since I don't own the game, and no one does, loading times take forever, due to the mass amounts of files to download. But, we got over it, and kept on. You don't get to keep any of the items that you get, which makes sense, but you get a lot of money in this game. It's awesome. The game is great, everything runs really well, but there are a LOT of quests. After this is all done, I'll probably be depressed that I wasted my time on it, and not playing the actual game which I haven't finished yet, but once Nightfall actually comes out, this'll rock. Well, unless I find something else that I really like, this'll be it for updates for now. Look for my complete preview review later!

Nightfall Update 2

9.22.06
12:35 PM CST

Nightfall is messed up! Period. So, here's the official scoop, from me. Basically, whenever you try to start the first mission, if you go with a party, one of the party will be kicked. If you go with a Hero, which you HAVE to to even start the mission, you will glitch, and get stuck inside of your Hero. No joke. And now, since everyone is stuck inside of the first town, there are TEN Districts AND COUNTING being made to house them all. To sum it all up, Nightfall is unplayable as of now. I'll be heading back to the original Guild Wars for a while, and checking back later. All I have to say, is that there are a HELL of a lot of people in there right now, and they're all stuck. Bad news NCSoft!

Nightfall Update 1

So, I'm currently sitting in class right now. Now, I didn't expect that I'd be able to, but I just did. I was able to get onto Guild Wars even connected to the school's wireless connection. Of course, I go to a technology based college, so the wi-fi is excellent here. I had to do it, and I did. I loaded up Guild Wars, and have officially created my first Nightfall character. Since we were on a break, I watched the intro and played up to the first mission. So far, the AI is almost too powerful. It was way to easy to get from Point A to Point B. But, none the less, it's looks visually AWESOME. Keep checking back often today for more updates! After class I'll be traveling with my friend through the game hopefully.

From The Western Front

Guild Wars Nightfall World Preview Event begins tomorrow [technically] and lasts until Sunday. I will DEFINATELY be a part of it, and I'll be sure to come back and give you the full preview review, RIGHT here in my Blog. Stay tuned, it's gonna be a good one!

Fall Lineup

Well, for those of you that know me well enough, you'll know that I have a video game obsession. I love video games, and I'm even going to college to become a video game designer. So, I thought I'd share with you the lineup of games that I plan on buying in the next couple months.

- Dance Dance Revolution SuperNOVA - September 26, 2006

- Guild Wars Nightfall - October 27, 2006

- Final Fantasy XII - October 31, 2006

- Guitar Hero II - November 7, 2006

- Need For Speed Carbon - November 2006

Unfortunately, all of these games are hella expensive, yet, very much worth it.
I'm sure that DDR is going to be $60;
GW is a Collector's Edition, so it'll be $70 I'm sure;
FF, which I've preordered, is going to be $60;
GH I believe I read is going to be $80;
and NFS is a Collector's Edition as well, and will be only $50.
That brings me to a whopping total of $320, not including tax. Can anyone say, ouch?

I'm also back into Guild Wars. I mean, I love Guild Wars. I'm WAY back into it. So, if you happen to be around, and in the original Guild Wars, hit me up sometime. My name is Weasel Terrahawk.

So, because I'm going into making video games, I want to know something from you guys. I'm curious to know what types of things YOU'D like to see in an MMORPG / CORPG / RPG? Features, quests, whatever. Anything and everything, I wanna know. Just go ahead and post it here.

Well, that's all from me for the day. I'm deathly tired from work still, and I don't think that I'll ever catch up, but I can take a break and just relax, as I'm going to do right now. Later!

Hi There

How's it goin'? Good? Good. Nice to see ya. Drop me a comment sometime if you so feel like it. I have four games that I will be buying in the next couple months, and these are what they are. Final Fantasy XII - I'm a huge fan of the Final Fantasy series, so naturally, I can't pass up this game either. Luckily, I have already put my five bucks down, and I am currently reserving a copy of the Collector's Edition at my local EB Games. Need For Speed Carbon - I'm also a HUGE fan of the Need For Speed series, so I NEED to get this game. This game looks excellent, and I can't wait for it to come out. It's amazing how little I've heard about it so far, but I'm still really really excited for this game. Dance Dance Revolution SuperNOVA - This game is coming out the soonest. Unfortunately, since I want to get the package with the pad as well of course, it'll cost a little extra. I already have a pad, but I want a second one so that I can finally play Versus and Double. This game looks awesome, so I can't wait for it either. Yeah, I'm really excited for these games. Guitar Hero 2 - After being absolutely obsessed with the first game for months after it came out, I'm just as excited for the second edition to come out. Although, I've been reading some song lists, and I'm not sure I'm going to like it as well as I thought. Since I haven't played it yet though, I'm not going to decide that now, and I AM going to get it no matter what. I can't wait! So there you have it. Also, expect me to have some fun and throw in a little video Blog, exclusive for GameSpot later tonight I think. Thanks for reading!

Coming Soon

Well, due to my amazing luck that I just happened to pull out of my ass, not literally, I will be acquiring my laptop this Tuesday, instead of in four to eight weeks. Great deal, huh?! So, yeah! Hopefully, after that, I'll be starting up a special Blog dedicated completely towards my gaming career. Because, of course, I begin college to become a game designer on Tuesday. ^.^
