If you are going to have gambling in a game. It should be on the box, that this game contains gambling. At least someone is finally addressing it. They should look at all of these games that have a paid RANDOM loot box system. Especially , if its randomized. I'm not against gambling. Its fun. But it is what it is. Congratulations to this senator for calling it out. The people that say you are getting $1 for $1. That's not really the case. Every card that you get that is the same, is nowhere near the same value as the first card. Same with CS:GO. You can see it on the market place, that guns you purchase from the loot cratea, eventually as valued at about .50cents. But you pay way more for the key to open the crate. Big time scam and its gambling.

@gamingdevil800: I have a friend that loves Superman and Batman comics and he literally turned the movie off half way through lol. It was meant to be the Hulk Hogan vs Ultimate Warrior of Super Hero movies. What a let down. Even if it just had more interesting ways that they both outwitted each other , to try and nail each others weaknesses..i thought Batman would at least create Krypton lazers or a Krypton Batarang. Lol. Anything..or Superman does something interesting to trap Batman. It was so bad. Lol

The slot machine analogy comes from, YOU spend money and the loot box Is Totally randomized And the outcome is pure chance. Granted there's probably some kind of percentage system, depending on how long you play (like a real slit machine lol) but its still a form of gambling.

@davillain-: I hated batman vs Superman. The whole movie was a big giant bad joke..the best part of that movie was the first couple of minutes, when superman destroyed the city and I was like, yay. This is going to be a really interesting , awesome battle of the 2 super hero giants and ..................nothing......nno interesting build up to a giant finale. Nothing.

@merwanor: call of duty 4 and MW2 was the first time developers saw that people WILL go to great lengths to progress. But not only that. People will unlock everything 10 times over with prestige, thats how crazy it really is. So developers now realize that many people want to unlock stuff, but they are willing to unlock the SAME sht over and over and now they want to monetize it..

I don't even see them as loot boxes, where I can choose what I want, after I've earnt it. Its a slot machine, that you can put real money into, if you want. Its gambling to me(IF you choose to spend money on it). Nothing more, nothing less. Because its a slot machine. This system should have a warning on the box, with gambling disclaimer on it.
