@pelvist: once I went to PC, I never looked back. But the exclusives on PC, were pretty interesting at times. Call Of Duty 1, Farcry, The Witcher, even the F1 Games (to.this day F1 99-02 is amazing to play , even to this day) Crysis was an exclusive. Even Elder Scrolls and Diablo all were at one point PC exclusive games. The Sims. Civilization , X com, command and conquer , RTS games. The choice on a single PC. From 1980s (if you really really wanted to go back that far, lol) games all the through to 2017, is available for PC. The amount of choice PC gamers have, is almost to much to handle. Its not just the graphics and load times that are better.
No problem. Matter of fact all games like Star Wars Heroes and any mobile games that you purchase crystals with real money or anything with terrible in-app purchases should not be played by anyone. There's a few mobile games like Football manager, civ , RISK , final fantasy etc that are a one stop payment and you can play it forever. Im Totally fine with.
@Alucard1475: it has a 8 core 2.3 GHz processor and 12 GB ram. That's already less than half the power of my mid-high end PC. But to be fair. To achieve a decent high end PC we have to spend more :)
@wayneextremity: @wayneextremity: Yes, but they still are creating games with the lowest denominator in mind aren't they? You say Shadow Of War and even Diablo 3, they are just adding nicer lighting textures etc aren't they? None of those games are specifically designed from the ground up with ONLY Xbox One X hardware exclusively in mind. Like for example if the create a Madden. Its not going to be a Madden exclusively created to fully maximise just the Xbox one x. They have to think about the Xbox one. The original Ps4 etc. They are not just creating just an Xbox one x version. Maybe they will. Hopefully they will.
@nyran125tk: what I mean is will there be games created from the GROUND UP, to fully utilize the complete power of the hardware ? Not just lighting and texture tweaks. Because there is difference. Look at Crysis on PC , when it was exclusive. For its time. Its was mind blowing. Because it utilized the powerful hardware of the PC, for its day..when Crysis 2 came along it was nowhere near the level graphically as Crysis on PC in that time period. It had to be scaled back to meet the console requirements with just a few slight added texture updates for just the PC version, to make it look better. Will games be created solely from ground up, to completely maximize the consoles hardware in all its glory?
Will there be EXCLUSIVE games for it , that don't exist on Any other platform, to TRULY take advantage of its power? Or will it be just like the rest? Games will be made with lesser powerful consoles in mind that literally hold back its true capabities?
@Prats1993: the witcher series. Epic. Depends on what we are talking about. Many people , play games for the sp experience. I have no interest in playing Elder Scrolls. With others. Lol. There's plenty of people that play, single player card games to. Solitaire, is extremely popular. So not even all card games are directed towards multiplayer. There's an audience for both, so games and mp games.
@bigbox: I did not like Halo as a single player experience. The multiplayer was where I enjoyed that game. Half Iife 2 was amazing though for me. I still play through that game at least once a year. The story , the gameplay, the premise, the shooting mechanics, the characters,
was about as good as it gets for a single player fps. I could never play Halo single player again, lol. I'd rather play Star Wars Jedi Knight 1 and 2 or something, than Halo.
