you CAN play each other on the same computer o.O you just CANT play each other on the same computer with the SAME keyboard, different controlers sure that'd work.

Have you tested with other games?
WELL your underestimating how addicting a game can get. I thought it was crap to play. and it probably is. but I love playing it for the heck of it with friends. Without friends, its not fun, only since you can scream at each other for the stupid things we always do ;).
YOU CAN TRY
1. Find his friends who got him to play, get them addicted to somethin else, it'll get to him, probably.
2. JUST DONT LET HIM. words have a powerful effect.
3. hide it O.O, no. If your close friends with him you can try to tell him that you find it invasive, disturbing, and intruding to his work for constantly going into your room with MORE friends that invade, disturb, and intrude your room. If your not close friends with him just tell him to **** off.
Not sure about you but Vindictus runs fine at 30fps. It is smooth as butter for me.
And the engine the game runs on it not well optimized so your fps is reasonable.
I have only had a few games where below 60 fps was slow and I can think of only two at the moment. Devil May Cry 4 and Street Fighter 4.
Just about every game I ran was smooth at 30fps+.
Yes there is a difference from 60fps to 30fps but it is not huge.

Yeah i agree with you, but ever since upgraded seeing 60+ fps and below that had annoyed me, i run SF4 smooth as butter everything maxed. Vindictus system requirements is a bit messed up then?
alright to the guy about the frame thing, I said for vid games, in real life, it is around 30, BUT MOST GAMES NOWADAYS it runs at 60 fps. runnin it at 30 and 60 is a huge difference in the game(and ONLY in the game, not for your fricken eye). I'll replace my psu anyhow in a around 3 months, if that doesnt fix it i'll be back here.
I got a 500 Watt psu, Dont know if thats the problem but I'd like to try other possible solutions before replacing that, but I will if it comes to that.
I play a lot of games, and my system specs is a 5750 1 gig, 2.8GHZ core two duo e7400 STOCK, 3 gigs of ram on a vista 64 bit home premium. So something like this is well above a free mmo like Vindictus which recently went into open beta, and i can run it on high with 30-50 frames, which isnt smooth.(for those of you who argue 30 fps is the most the human eye can see dont post, that's not to true in video games.)(i am also well over the reccomended specs). I know some people with similar pc specs that have better performance than me and I cant even run MW2 on highest settings without going into the 40's in some SP areas. My maximum res. is only 1440X900. Is there something wrong with my hardware or is it just running fine?
your stuff overheating?
uhh virus?
Virus protection blocking the game?
Reinstall the game?
Just some things you can try.
When the guy says "Lower requirements" does he mean a higher min. but lower optimum or a lower min. and a lower optimum? (or lower min. and higher optimum.)
I'll try and clean it up like you said. Thx for replies.XP would just be a test to see how the game performs, because many games running in DX9 are very stable on there. If you're getting to past 70*C, that's probably not a good thing. Slapping another fan on there.
This guide to cleaning your PC is extensive, and great. That's how I've been cleaning my computer for years, but lo-and-behold, someone as anal retentive as me has made a guide to cleaning your PC like me.
