i defragged just a week ago. My temps idle is about 37-43 C and under load its usually in the 70's. While running furmark its at 90-100C, and it doesnt have the lag problem doing furmark...I havent undusted my computer yet, ill try that out

how do you increase your swap file on vista?
i have three gigs, vista 64 bit
So in all of my games I would get random frame drops. The frame drop lasts 1/4 of a second and the game simply Freezes for 1/4 of a second, so you could say there are no frames in my games for 1/4 of a second every 5 seconds or so. This is incredibly irritating and I would like to know if someone else has this problem and a solution to it. I have a 500 watt psu which should be enough for a Core two duo at 2.8 (7400) and a 5750 1 gig. The problem DOES stop after restart and will play fine until I put my computer into anything like hibernation or "sleep" mode. And when it starts back up this problem with games continues until i restart, is there a way to fix this without restarting every time?
Probably similar system req to Wolfienstein(most recent). I mean it is the id tech 4 engine :PMrLions
Really? How much higher do you think the requirements will be compared to wolfienstein? Since it is a newer better looking game
What do you guys think the min. and rec. specs are? The game looks amazing in my opinion, and the company making it mainly built pc games. So I would assume it would have good optimizations.
Alright, well on stock it was 86-89C, Though this was on furmark, and I dont think any games stress it as much as furmark....
I have an xfx 5750 1 gig with its stock cooling. i oc'ed it only a little, as i dont have the best cooling in the world to 765/1225 (GPUCLOCK/MEMCLOCK),
I ran furmark for around 10 min. for the last 5 min. it altered from 89C-91C and didnt go any higher than that. It was idle at 59C, is this an ok temp? I didnt see any artifacts
at vetnor, maybe to much ram for xp? it cant take to much lol. At the first post, thx, it really helped, though what are your specs? Since i cant run the game lowest settings, thx to the ini thing i got 20 more frames xD, at a smooth 60 constant even at lowest settings. 2.8 c2d stock e7400, 5750 1 gig, vista 64, 3 gigs of ram, how much better is your system compared to mine?
Does bfbc2 run better on the XP OS than Vista or Win 7? Since everywhere i've looked that's been the case. I know XP only has DX9 but it still runs better when dx9 is forced on vista or 7. Is this true? if so could there be any way for vista or 7 users to run the game (on dx9) as good as xp?
