[QUOTE="AirGuitarist87"]Well I like Coheed & Cambria, though I'm well aware that they're prog-rock. Could you recommend any other prog-metal bands?
crucifine
CYNIC. Some people don't like the vocals (it's a split between low growls and computerized singing), but they are hands down the best prog-metal band there is or ever was. You might also like Aghora, which had the guitarist and drummer from Cynic. They're a bit more like Dream Theatre, but not nearly as bad at songwriting. Of course, there's always Tool...
As for what I think of Opeth, they're pretty hit or miss. I can't honestly say I'm a fan, but I do like their newest album. It's got a lot more clean vocals than their earlier stuff, too.
Yes Cynic are pretty good. They're the only jazz-infused metal band I truly like.
As for Opeth, My Arms Your Hearse is my favourite album. It was the album which got me into Opeth, and imo is their masterpiece - it's just so brutal and unrestrained. Love it.
I like SLAYER
would i like OPETH?
L-1992
Well, they're nothing like Slayer, but you could still potentially like them...
This will only be counter-productive. The system will get cracked within a matter of days probably, so won't hinder pirates in the slightest. Meanwhile, all the people that bought the game will have to f**k around with this stupid copy-protection system.
If EA were smart, they'd use steam. But no...
sucks a lot of u have to wait i just beat it and its awesome. i have a question tho if you can afford a gaming pc how come you cant afford a 360 or ps3 and play it now?Blackfriend8
Gaming PCs aren't much more expensive than consoles you know...? :P Just because we're PC gamers doesn't mean we're automatically loaded.
They're coming to my area on the 18th (Albany, NY btw). I'm still wondering if I should shell out the money for tickets... >_>vgm007
There should be absolutely no doubt in that matter. You'll regret it if you don't.
[QUOTE="opethpwn"][QUOTE="DiabeticDood"]Ya and 22 bucks for three amazing bands! Opeth even played my two favorite songs! It was way worth it... My ears still muffled from last night :D.DiabeticDood
Heh. Yeah, my neck was f**ked for like a week afterwards due to all the headbanging. I think I did some permanant damage when they played Demon of the Fall... but, I just couldn't help getting into it.
lol I know what you mean. They opened up with Demon of the Fall and I knew it was gonna be good from then on :D. Then they continued with Master's Apprentice, and my favorite song from Opeth right now... Serinity Painted Death. Best version EVER! He said it sucked lol...
Ah lucky, I'd give anything to hear SPD live. Have you heard Watershed yet?
So i thought it would be fun to make a thread where everyone has to make the best, most expensive pc ever(not in real life of course, And you can get the peices from wherever you want.Or cheapest pc if you want.
