@escopab i share your sentiments. the way i see it is that halo still has no release date and looks like it isnt deep into development yet. titanfall wont come out till spring and even then it might come to the PS4. So im just going to stick with the PS4. I will wait for the X1 and if the price drops or i get a good deal when Halo releases I might get it.
@DaRq_MiNoS Sony is not so narrow minded. The RAM rumor was brought about by people who do not have an understanding of how it is used and what differences it will make. Cerny has already said that they have built a very flexible architecture.
The intro to me was refreshing as it showed you what will happen when you turn on the PS4 and start playing. good way to start but unfortunately the video director at gamescom was really poor and did not let us see much close ups.
@kiryyya you are far too short-sighted my friend. wait a few months, that's when the PS AAA titles in development will be revealed.
if you had watched the conference, you'd know that they announced that Naughty Dog, Santa Monica and Media Molecule are all working on titles yet to be announced.
its not fair to pass judgments so quickly, you have to go at least 6 months into the console cycle to deem if Sony has failed or succeeded.
@SlayerX13 @IanNottinghamX you accuse him of making presumptions and not stating facts while you yourself base your argument on something as abstract as the cloud.
yes it helps in matchmaking but that is as far as it goes so far for cloud computing.
@SlayerX13 you need to watch their gamescom press conference. thats what they did, SHOWED the games and thats why all these journalists are excited for them.
since it it supposed to come out in 3 months it is a huge risk to change the gameplay this late. i fear it will be an unpolished release. and yes as other people have stated, combat is not looking fluid.
and whats with the microtransactions in a full price game? get the game right then you can talk about that, not the other way round!
