@Tigerbite2 @outlawoftorn yeah dude i did read it...but based on past experience the kinect always picks up game-sounds which makes chat horrendous...i dont see how you can completely isolate voice from sound coming out of your speakers...thats why a headset is important!
again this is a lack of connection with the gamer community....microsoft has no idea how important game-chat is to gamers...especially those who party up and play with friends...there was a reason it was included with x360...is this the same company that made the x360?
@Tigerbite2 well voice chat is there for when you are in a party and playing with friends...that is how I played most of my games on my 360 and made xbox live stand out with cross-game chat and all....which makes this another sad move...especially since old headsets cant be used now...
@dhewett2 yeah if your going to make proprietary accessories at least make them last....absolutely no clue why the controller still runs on batteries and why a simple headset is not there..
i think this is a deliberate ploy so that they can reinforce the kinect requirement....they just do not want to let go of the necessary kinect which frankly is holding a lot of gamers back..
