@engenderreality it matters because it underscores even more that bundling kinect with the system is purposeless.

anything that proves the kinect is neither ready for mainstream nor benificial just reinstates the sentiments of gamers worldwide.

@codeman101360 actually very likely as just about every piece of software on the xbox requires gold. especially those that need the internet.

if the kinect uses the internet then it will require gold.

@gunzlingerbila urdu is awesome. i wish there is support but it is highly unlikely. MS only cares for very specific regions anyway.

if the voice commands are so accent specific...it looks like they wont entirely be accurate all the time.

might be easier pressing the button then saying Xbox On ten times.

MS could release pre-recorded sound files of voice commands which you can then play through your phone.

and they could even charge for downloading these sound files. I bet that's what they are thinking about right now.

i guess the kinect just became even more useless for those countries.

I cannot understand what is happening with MS. the gaming division is in complete disarray. u-turn on policies, incomplete features for a lot of regions, delays in a lot of regions and the list goes on.....

they still also have not announced a release date...which points to more worry

not to mention the lack of third party support. there are great third party titles coming to X1 and PS4. maybe he really should be worried instead of uttering 'meh'.

once again nintendo is a full generation behind on hardware. i wish it could put up a fight and strike more competition.
