I bid you farwell I don't know when I'll be back. (Part II)

Do you like how I used Roman Numerals for the 2? It makes me look smarter. Now on to the actual blog... This weekend I'm moving in to a house (we're renting and this house has a rather interesting story but that is a story for another time, so the end of the blog, or mayhaps the middle) and this house doesn't have an internet connection yet so I don't know when that will be set up at some later date. It may be tomorrow or it could be a week from now. Another perfectly suitable title for this blog would have been "Crazy New Zealand Strikes again" here with internet you pay of GB, not unlimited access. WTF I ask myself. I'm not getting TV until February 14 (Valentines Day, hehe) so who knows when internet will be hooked up. I do have TV but it's only 4 channels (the basic, I think everyone in NZ gets those channels) so today I went out and brought the second season of 24 (the most addicting show ever) and yesterday I brought gunshy for $7. I was told to rent it but figured it would probably cost $7 to rent. Today in Wellington (where I live) and all this weekend is Rugby 7s which is this rugby competition. It seems to have brought out the worlds most crazy people. People dress up for when they go on the game so they can get on TV at the games. Today I've seen people dressed in sacks, as people in prison clothes, like they've gone to Hawaii, some people painted their bodies black to support the Kenya team, dressed from the 70s, in lycra jumpsuits, as this guy in TV commercials here, but my favorite has to be the guys who were dressed in short shorts, light blue Converse All-stars, high navy socks, and light blue shirts that said they were jump rope champions from 1976. They then had jump ropes and then one guy started skipping across the street. He then fell. I laughed. Most people in this town are drunk and are yelling. Now about my house. I would hope that everybody knows what movie was filmed in NZ. It's a rather famous movie that pretty much the whole world has seen. It may or may not have been based on a book and may or may not have been a trilogy and set in a fantasy land. It's Lord Of The Rings for those of you who are still guessing. Now when they were filming the movie the actors had to stay somewhere so I'm guessing they rented houses. Guess who rented my house. When I found out I was quite excited as now he's in one of my favorite shows. Sean Astin. It's quite exciting to know that he was in my house. It also means that the cast from the movies has been in my house because the landlord said there was a party there at Halloween. Hehehehe, it's better than being on a sugar high or any other high for that matter. Oh well now I must be saying goodbye for a second time in less than a month. Until next time. I'm off to do more Suduko, my new addiction (besides 24, then most suspense filled show ever!) I’m doing about 6 Sudukos a day and am now on genius level ones. They really make you think which is bad because school starts on Tuesday. Bleech. Rather a long blog, sorry about that.

Things that make you go hmm...

Mind the spelling on hmmm, I don't know how you spell it. Well folks once again I find myself on an abysmally slow internet connection but you don't want to hear talk about that. When you read this you expect me to have something witty to say about something. Well today you may be disappointed but the title is completely appropriate for the topic of the blog. Now I know that there are some people out there who don't live in the America or Canada and get frustrated over the fact that they don't get TV at the same time and mayhaps the decide to *coughs* get the episode by less than legal means. Now today it is a wonderful beautiful overly humid day. I went out today for a lovely walk to the store to buy some flavored water and something for lunch. I got home at about 12 and here is where it gets interesting (as at this point you must be figuring that this is the boringest day ever). So I get home and put on TV and watch the lamest sport ever, golf. Now it’s the Buick Invitational or whatever the golf thing this weekend was (Tiger won, I quite like him). I like how they can have sporting events live from America in New Zealand but regular TV escapes them. However wait, it does get better. I had about an hour to kill before the best part. I watched The Six Million Dollar Man which took me to 2 o’clock. Then I found myself watching The Screen Actors Guild Awards LIVE. It was live. How come we get sporting events and the SAGs but we can’t get CSI, Lost, House, 24, I won’t go on when it airs in America. I swear I am going to write a very angry letter to the TV stations here. Now I have a funny story but it contains spoilers for season 4 of CSI: Miami and season 2 of CSI: NY so be warned. NZ isn’t completely lacking in TV. They’ve got the new season of CSI: NY, Bones, and Lost starts this week along with House. However NY and Miami did something tres interesting for sweeps in November. They had that crossover episode and CSI: Miami finishes the 3rd season this week or maybe it was last week I can’t actually remember. I laughed when I realized that the TV broadcaster had a problem with what to do. I was then quite sad because I worked that the sixth season of CSI would be this week but it’s not. I now work out that it will be another two weeks at least because they have to finish the 4th season of 24 and it’s not this week that it finishes.

Just what I need.

Well folks today started off in a rather weird way. I went to bed last night about 10:30 after watching 24 and CSI DVD and watching clips of last nights new CSI episode. I read till about midnight (have you ever had one of those books that you tell yourself, "one more chapter," as it's a cliffhanger and you don't want to stop reading? That's what happened with my book.) Anyways so I final stopped and went to bed. So it's 6 o'clock in the morning and what happens? The fire alarm goes off. I'm in my PJs, barely coherent, grabbing some shoes and a coat to cover up even though it's summer and going down 17 flights of stairs. Not exactly the best way to start my day. 4 firetrucks show up and the alarm was set by some guy smoking on the 10 floor. It says NO SMOKING for a reason. I assumed there no fire but when I was outside I realized that I didn't have my laptop or iPod and what if there was a fire because then I would lose all my files both audio, video, and documents. Nearly my entire fandom life is on this laptop. It was quite a scary thought. I went and backed everything up on some CDs just in case. I've now been up for 14 hours on 5 hours of sleep. Caffeine is my only true friend today. You know what dawned about 4 hours ago. I don't have any pending subs. None at all. I was actually quite happy for all of 10 minutes. Then I made coffee.

Another one to call my own.

I now add Jesse Spencer to my list of people I'm the editor for. (Well there are two people but it's still a list.) Anyways this week has been boring. Brought the first season of 24 on DVD and am completely hopelessly addicted. I'm watching 4 or 5 episodes a day but today haven't watched any as I've attempted to catch up on some reading. Today in New Zealand I get to watch some 4th season of 24 and then Grave Danger which I own on DVD so it’s kind of pointless. Now I'm sitting on my laptop on my slow internet connection downloading a clip from tonights CSI episode. You know you should be scared when it says that there is 29 minutes left. I don't care if I waste whatever bytes I have I need this clip then I'll probably get called crazy for actually caring. I'll just pretend I don't know where those bytes went and claim it has to do with emails. But the clip has downloaded now, the internet connection has slightly improved and I was just given a look because I was laughing so hard. Both types of GSR in one clip, it can’t be true!

Some stuff I need to write.

Well guys, I'm back but I'm not technically back. I do have access to internet but it's not going like actual internet. I'm paying for a connection to a wireless network and it's pretty expensive. Unfortunately this means I won't be able to be on 24/7 like to good ol' days. In the weekends I can be on all the time as my dear Father's office is quite handily right across the street and I don't have to pay for interent there. Then I shall upload my new banner which is actually a piece of crap because I had like 10 pictures on my laptop, no internet, and photoshop was making me mad. Glad to see that I was actually missed, I was thinking that no one would even notice I was gone. Still got to catch up, I'm quite liking the new tv.com I just have to figure out what's happening. The only bad thing is I log on and I'm without a level.:( I also see that pictures and stuff are back. Oh well peoples, until next time.

I bid you farewell, I don't know when I'll be back.

Well people tomorrow I say farewell to Canada and say hello to New Zealand (well technically it will be the day after tomorrow but still...) It's been fun on this site and unfortunately I don't know when I'll have access to the internet next so I figure I must say good-bye or as I like to say, "until next time," as I swear I will be back, even it kills me. Today I went up to school for the very last time and stayed for the entire afternoon. I ate lunch with my friends, took pictures of us in "the smart corner," as named by my not so sane friend. Then it was off to my old PE class to watch them do their creative dances. It was hilarious and I took pictures. They finished with 20 minutes left in class so we just sat around talking. My friend gave me her Christmas CD, a letter of our friendship (I read it in English and nearly cried), and some pictures which I will frame at a later date. Then it was off to English were I sat listening to my iPod while the teacher talked. I managed to get through the day without crying but lost it when I got home. I walked home with my friends and one of them who walked all the way to my house was crying, she never cries. Tomorrow I leave early and the only good thing is that because I go through San Fransisco I can buy TV Guide, my favorite magazine. Yay!!!! So it's farewell for now but I shall be back.

The return of a guy we all know and love.

This weekend saw the return of 24 and it started of strong. I actually forgot about it until it was about 5 minutes until it started and I realized I didn't have any snacks so ended up with some ice cream in a heavy coating of chocolate sauce. That was a great way to end a nearly perfect weekend. This Friday saw me over at my friends house eating Japanese, listening to music (from the Spice Girls to Hanson, we are such geeks), and talking to about 10pm (I was forced to go home because I did have to get some sleep). Then on Saturday I went out with some other friends to a restaurant and a movie then back to her house for cake and to watch the Figure Skating (once again, we're sad and have no life). I went shopping on both Saturday and Sunday and ended up with a new belt, 7 books, and new running shoes, as well as a substantial dent in whatever money I claim to have. I haven't eaten real food all weekend either, everything has been take out, pizza, ect, ect as the kitchen is out of bounds and must be kept clean at all costs. Makes me wonder what I'll be eating today. The weekend may sound like the greatest weekend ever in the world but I'm moving this Wednesday, trying to sell my house, and packing. Not exactly the most fun I could have ever. P.S. It stopped raining on the weekend but now on this wonderful Monday appears to look like it will bring rain. Oh well off to Starbucks for breakfast.

26 days...

My city has now had 26 days of rain it also surpasses the old record of 25 days of rain. It's rather depressing and you never know if you should go out without your umbrella or not so I try not to go out at all. Once again it has been boring, I did however reach 100 reviews on this site yesterday which was a moment of reflection, I think I spend to much time on this site. However I shall continue to spend to much time on the site until I get something better to do. The only exciting thing today is the fact that Lost is new and the 24 countdown has began as it starts on Sunday.

Eric Szmanda is mine!!!!!!!!!!!

I am now the editor for Eric Szmanda!!!!! Yay!!!!!! I have nothing else to write at the moment and I really have nothing to do today either. Maybe I'll go to the movies or out to the mall or maybe I'll just sit at home and watch TV. Oh well, I'm still the editor for Eric Szmanda!!!!!!

Nothing to say, nothing to write.

Well this week has been rather boring however CSI was on last night so it made up for the lameness of the week. Also in the CSI forum we finished made 500 posts in the GSR Club so made a new one and I also posted the first chapter in my fic so it made for actually a rather interesting week. More interesting than I thought come to think of it. Shows what typing will do to your week, turn even the most boring week into an interesting one. Was going to see a movie but didn't and went to the gym and CD shopping instead for some good CDs that I wanted. Have you subscribed to Top of the Pods yet. If not go do it now or I shall hunt you down. Hope everyone has a good weekend and subscribes to Top of the Pods at their earliest convenience (NOW).
