@dman123_1 The idea of watching TV with social networking is a pathetically far cry from sitting in the same room with friends. That' why social networking is largely bulls***. It's not actually at all social, it's just another artificial barrier in the way of real socialization.
Sorry, I realize you weren't really arguing *for* social networking, I just felt like ranting.
@TTFDYLLC Like I said, I'm not really talking about the US. I know the US's purposes in the region are spurious at best, but that's simply not what I'm talking about. What I *am* saying, is that no matter how you feel about US troops, their enemies are far worse, and don't deserve any sort of honor. That's it.
Anyway, you really are acting like an arrogant fellow, and you seem to have absolutely no skill in either argument or the language you're using, so it's a bit difficult to actually rebut these half-nonsense posts of yours. So I'm just going to list my counter-arguments in a respective order:
1. I don't care if "america and any other country involved in this war DO NOT GIVE A #UCK". It has little to do with my stance, or what of it I've thus far made you aware of.
2. "that's why they overthrew gaddaffi". Who do you mean by "They"? The US? If you really think the US masterminded his overthrow, then you need to do more research. Whatever arises from the ashes of the old Libya will be far less receptive to the US, and that's not something they want (as illustrated rather clearly by the US led overthrow of Mosaddegh). They provided the rebels with air superiority, likely just to look good, and that's it.
3. If the US are spreading lies about Iran, then so is nearly everyone else in the world. The only place on earth you can find positive words about that place is either in Iran, or in one of its few friend's territory (i.e. Syria). Really, tell me about even one of these "lies", and then give me this evidence that it actually is one, and I'll give you any credence on the matter.
4. The US currently only has troops in Afghanistan, and Iraq in small numbers. I'd hardly call that trying to control as much of the region as possible.
5. "obviously it worked on you" Yes, that makes sense. They obviously want me to have a rather caustic view them, and distrust them intensely (THOSE are my views). You obviously don't know a thing about me, stop making assumptions.
6. Like I responded below, I am not making political arguments, and my positions are decently educated. Try actually forming arguments instead of just throwing around Ad Hominem attacks.
@TTFDYLLC No. The games themes concern international relations and military operations, they do not concern policy. This guy's just ranting about Obama and how he's no good for America. It's a bizarre leap, and one that only serves to rile people up.
