Married with children I think. I haven't really watched TV in years and most modern shows and movies just don't interest me at all. But I'll watch some old shows like Barney Miller, etc. and the occasional 80's movie but usually if I watch anything, it's just YT videos.

I figured most gamers who are old enough to get a job have both and then some anyway. Maybe even a few China retro systems or something. Anyone with just 1 system must either be one broke dick mofo or doesn't get much into gaming.
That may even be a small percentage of all cheaters for all anyone knows. But why they cheat is obvious and they likely also don't have the time it takes to invest. People have been cheating in everything competitive since humans became human which is probably why we won the species war.
@Gatygun: no. But most of their assets at the time were sold to Nvidia. Given the antiquated natureof those, it's actually probably irrelevant at this point to their ability to reboot the brand
Most other nostalgic brands including game IP's have been rebooted successfully like the Atari VCS for example. Voodoo would just be a branding perhaps one that a company like PNY or Zotac might use just to market some uniqueness to their RTX cards. Imagine if they used similar box art on top of it? But the branding could also be used to identify diversity in configurations...such as a 3080 RTX with different amount of VRAM or different Type/cheaper type? ...DDR 5 perhaps?
I don't know if cost cutting on VRAM type would gimp a 30 series to the point where it wouldn't be useful but personally I wouldn't mind seeing lower power laptop 30 series being made for desktops. That way, we have the option of utilizing the newest features and lower power supply options...then just call it a Voodoo graphics card!
No. I even worked all throughout the pandemic last year because construction workers were considered essential and I had to carry around papers signed by the governor but anyway, I either never got it or never noticed it. No one in my household nor the other guys at work seemingly had it either up to this day so we've been fortunate.
It's kind of weird listening to people talk about or reference the "lockdown" in similarity to talking about a great depression or something when you're lifestyle never changed. It's like listening to someone talk about a popular TV series that you've never watched.
As soon as I get mine I'm installing windows and all of my game launchers.
I have no use for SteamOS but the idea of a portable gaming PC that can actually fully function as a real gaming device speaks to me.
Getting the base model and installing a 1TB nvme
GPD Win has been making portable Windows gaming devices for years. I think it's just kind of odd that Deck is getting so much attention when the option to play portable PC games has been around. I have the first GPD Win and it still holds up pretty well. But I'm also betting that a lot of people wanting a Deck probably don't even travel enough to really warrant a need for portability when a small laptop and gamepad could do better.
UE 5 engine shows some promise. While the term "next gen" is rather subjective and typically only serves for media purposes, the heart of what you'll experience lies in how commonly used graphic engines like Unity, etc will utilize hardware and of course how well proprietary engines are utilized for the games they are used for.
As far as the fanboy stuff....well it's fanboy stuff and you guys obviously enjoy nut hugging large corporations like boot lickers to suede leather.
