Halo is one fo the highest scoring FPS on GS and it's in the top ten at GR, it is critically acclaimed series and sells millions upon millions. What would make a game among the greatest in there genre? It can't be reviews cause Halo has that, it can't be sales cause Halo has that too and it can't be fanbase cause Halo also has that. People just hate it cause it's popular just like they hate on GTA. These are critically acclaimed games and they treat them as if they were garbage, that same person would turn around and flame the hell out of someone for not like the games that he likes. It's like a band who's fans turn on them if they become popualr, it's thing to do now adays. The people who think Halo is the best FPS played other FPS before it? Calling me ignorant must mean you know the truth to that answer? care to share it with me? I'm sure plenty of them have and the guys here at GS have played other FPS and the same goes for the guys at IGN, GameSpy, GamePro, EGM ect.... and they all seem to think highly of the game. If you don't think it's the greatest then fine but to act as your opinion is fact is just ignorant.
If they aren't "noobs" then they are criticized for liking "overrated garbage" etc. etc.
