This is one of the games the cows rubbed in the other fanboys faces and swear it would never make it's way to anything that doesn't have the bot the name Play and Station. TCHBO, it's that simple.
There is no need for that since Halo 3 would over shadow a price drop. They should drop the price next month which will probably be there weakest month all year in terms of games.
One company that says it's not in the running is Microsoft (Charts). Because today's independent publishers are platform agnostic - that is to say, they build games for all major systems - taking over one would result in a massive revenue loss for Microsoft, as all development would be redirected toward the Xbox 360.
"We could never launch an acquisition bid at a third party publisher," said Shane Kim, corporate vice president of Microsoft Game Studios.

says who ? sony is the better fit really, they have pleny of money to spare, they dont go around buying out companies like MS does, they make deals with companies like naughty dog and level 5 and factor 5 and others. they havent really bought a company since polyphony i think and that wasnt uber money spent. they have the capital to make this happen and have their hand in so many different companies from movies to electronics. it wouldnt be just SCEA bidding it would be sony as a whole just like MS games division doesnt buy a company cus they are billions in debt, its MS corporation that bought bungie.
I doubt that Sony would spend all that money for one game. It will be either EA, Ubisoft, or Activision.
Though I wanted Ubisoft to buy Sega, if T2 was to be bought I hope it's Ubi who get's them.

\ it's not an ownage statement, it's a statement that disprooves all the fanboys who say the PS3 will never get a AAA. I personally wonder how and if they will use 6-axis motion sensing I think AAA exclusive is the big deal here, and that will probably take a while for the PS3.It is important for two reasons, exclusives is why you pick one console over the other and 2 this palce is about bragging rights and you can't brag about a game that the other group of fanboys have been playing for over a year. As for it disprooving anything, when asked what will be the first game to get AAA on the PS3 this is the game that everyone said would be.
They expected BD to sell 100k and it surpass that. It got AAA reviews in Japan and the Japanese lined up for hours just to play it and was at one point the 2nd most wanted game in Japan. If the game was on the PS3 it would have sold a **** load and you would be praising it since it's on the PS3. Then there is LO which the Japanese thinks is so terrible that it's one of their top most wanted games. These games don't sell more then what they do not because they don't like it but simply because they are on the 360.
