Like everybody else, I didn't get much value out of Kinect. But unlike most, I see big potential for Kinect 2 especially as a standard inclusion with every X1 so developers will be more likely to use it in smart unobtrusive ways. So yeah, I consider Kinect a major selling point. But right now...
X1 has Kinect.
PS4 has more power, a lower price, Sony's history of better exclusives, Sony's history of better peripherals, more openness, cross-platform play, indie dev support, and Sony's greed leading them to focus on customers more than advertisers and publishers ala Microsoft.
@dominoodle I just don't get tablets. If they had cell service on them, I'd have bought one a long time ago and used it as my phone with a blue tooth headset.
As it is, they're just another thing to have to carry around and I can do what they do on my phone. The Surface, with it's PC functionality, was the first tablet I actually considered...but it didn't sell, which confused me. For me, for now, Tablets are just a useless half-way house between a phone and a laptop.
Apparently though, I'm pretty much alone thinking like that.
@Grizzmeister lol. I've had multiple 360s and multiple PS3s. I never even thought about a Wii. Everybody I knew that had one bought it for their kids and it ended up collecting dust years ago.
People remember that, that they bought this hot item that was a nice interesting flash in the pan but ultimately a bad choice. That legacy shows in the Wii U sales.
