@zinten @plaintomato @ekelly10 I personally just don't see any other reason to own a console...other than exclusives, which are another artificially imposed "feature".
@zinten @plaintomato @ekelly10 Yeah, I'm probably in the minority. And it's not about not wanting to use KBM for me...it's about the fact that when I do use a controller, I want a level playing field where everyone is using a controller. It's not an opinion I expect to actually matter...I'm probably in a small minority here.
@ekelly10 Well, full KBM support would have me switching to PC. The only reason I really like consoles is for those times when I want to kick back with a controller. I can already do that on PC, but KBM is way better in most competitive games, so I don't have a level playing field on PC.
Maybe it would be a good thing...the last excuse I need to just write off the consoles entirely.
@Psycold I was at a concert, UK post-punk band in the US, and the lead singer said "you ever notice how American musicians don't write songs about England, but British musicians write endlessly about America?"
Then they played a song about the US housing bubble collapse.
Quit whining. Every connected device you have tracks user data for advertising to the best of its abilities. This is only news to the ignorant, and only the most ignorant would believe this kind of thing is unique to MS. If being part of a data pool is too much for you, and you don't trust the "opt out" option, sever yourself from the internet.
I already know what my biometric data will tell them - that I avoid their ads, I don't look at them if they don't consume the whole screen, and if I can't escape then my annoyance level rises to the point that I'd avoid the un-skippable advertiser's products as long as it is at all convenient to do so.
