On top of that, I bought a spear xbox 360 to lengthen lifespan for a great choice of games this gen to prepare for offline convenience and hope to go PS4 for sensible freedom in on and offline gaming. Don't want no lousy rumored 720 Always-on subscription contract with no sense of independent ownership of what I buy.
Sounds to me that the subscription deal could well be a contract deal for a year or two. On subscription expire, we'd have owned nothing from buying content and lost a fortune at the consoles tomb stone. Not even a lower fee would justify the loss of full priced purchased games.
And MS would've profited from an exploited rental service only to leave us with bad memories of being scammed with nothing left to show for it. Reminds me how unfortunate schools get scammed with computers by crims.
Microsoft "don't negotiate with pirates" since this is their initial viewpoint on us being hooked up on a rental leash for no bargaining. To ms, it's like pirates pleading for mercy :D
If true, the money paid on games in hindsight would practically be paying for a rental access service for a console that would never become a classic like an offline Dreamcast. God forbid but imagine how dlc could be forcefully sold to allow your games to load without the game shutting down? Hideous.
