Well, I bought a 24" monitor (ASUS MK241H) to use for my PS3 and when I purchase a good pc sometime in the the future. I also decided to output my current computing solutions screen to it, a fairly crappy laptop, it was low-end 2 years ago. I'm using a VGA cable as that is the only output my laptop has.

The only problem is everything looks somewhat fuzzy/blurry, its bearable, but nowhere near as crisp as the laptop's screen itself. So, is this due to using a VGA cable, a relatively poor connection, or due to something else entirely. I'm fairly sure it's not a bad monitor as it is not low-end at all.

Thanks in advance.

Ok, well I just bought a 24" LCD monitor (ASUS MK241H btw), 1920x1200 of course, to play my PS3 on. The XMB and blu-ray movies look superb but I played Uncharted and it only takes up a portion of the screen, this is because I have it set to a 1:1 aspect ratio, so 1080p content has black bars and isnt stretched.

Well I set the ratio to full and it looks like crap, all pixely, because I assume the monitors scaler is crap. I went into the display settings to try and only select 1080p to force it and use the PS3's scaler, but I can't turn off 576p, so when I play Uncharted in 1:1 its even smaller. Just wondering if I could actually turn off 576p? I'm using HDMI cables.

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: And no, my monitor does not have aspect ratio option that stretches the picture but still keeps it 16:9, also known as Aspect.

4GB even tho thats what i got is TOO small for videos

If you're just gonna use it for Game Saves,Pictures & Muzic then 4GB is plenty

But

If you basicly wanna carry around youtube with you which i do then get at a minnmum 8GB or Go for the Big Stick 16GB

Ok, so I am soon buying a 24" LCD PC monitor (1920x1200 resolution of course). I am buying it to use for my PS3, and also to use when I buy a gaming desktop sometime in the near future.

Currently I am using a relatively crap laptop for computing purposes, and I had the thought that I could hook up my 24" monitor to my laptop via it's VGA out in the meantime while I get a desktop. The laptops video card is an ATI RADEON XPRESS 200M. I was just wondering if my laptop would support such a high resoultion (1920x1200) via it's VGA out.

Also, do you think it would still work an acceptable speed for say, web browsing? That's almost all I'm using it for these days anyway.

Thanks in advance.

No but if you have the micro version. And spend like 300 bucks on the game. You may get a tank and other stuff also. lol Which youll be able to download on the PSN for free anyways after that exclusive contract is over.

Thats the reason you did not get a SA game or VC one. So they could charge you 300 dollars for it. But believe me that was not Take2s idea. And we would of had that stuff for the 60 dollars if?? And we all know what the ifs have been the stink up gaming as of late.

Still a vary good game otherwise.

Yes they do, but you'd probably get better answers in the PC Hardware forum.

A bloody long time, I even have to start up explorer.exe in the task manager when my background has loaded.
