the only argument i can see here is bad demo = bad game
but character development rpgs really can't be judged by level 1-4, can they? nor can you truly judge a multiplayer game through the single player experience
at level 1 you're wearing rags, you have no stats, no skills, your character looks like crap, there's vew enemies and they're generic melee attackers, there's no bosses
mfsa
You know what? Earlier I installed a demo for a game.
I chose to go ranged, because that's more my style of playing rpgs. So, heck, I say to myself "lets hope I'm able to keep them far from me, since I'm sure I'll be very squishy"
Ok, now I'm running the game, looks cool, graphics are fine, the sound is crap but who cares, it might be placeholding sounds for the demo.
Then I see a mob. Group of zombies. Ok... left click *bullets start flying about*... hmmm what I can just fire unlimited ammo and kill everything on sight? cool...? crap.-..?
Oh hey! there's a bigger zombie! click............... run. clickk....... run. he's dead. hmmmmmj.... this is getting very difficult, I had to run on that fight...
And let me tell you something, being able to almost one shot everything in the game is kinda dumb. I mean. It took me like 4 firebolts to kill one zombie on Diablo II, and that ment almost ALL my mana. I didn't even know powers used the blue bubble on Hellgate. I could just spam granades until my ass turned inside out.
Nah... unballanced. Bad sound. Cheap gameplay. Common NPCs. Those guards seem taken out of some fantasy game.
