@Bexorcist: Hey, look what you did there. Yes, from a purely competitive point of view, the KB&M is better. You have reinforced both of our points. Does that mean you now comprehend what I was saying since my very first post?

I can't help but feel like you all have forgotten what the fundamental purpose of a video games is.

@Bexorcist: Wow you sure told me. I guess there's nothing left but for me to go in a corner and have a cry about it. :/

Let's see, I say: Everyone has a different opinion on what is better and that everyone should be able to play the way they want.

The arguement against is: KB&M is better regardless of how any one else feels.

And I'm the arrogant one?

Yes I'm fully aware of what Savagerodent and yourself mean and yet you are not listening to what I'm saying. Your definition of better is all about precision and the most kills. That is not how I define better. The controller that gives me the more immersive and comfortable experience is what I define as better.

Here lets try this a different way. The purpose of sex is to produce a baby. If we did this your way 2 minutes after starting it'd be over.. I'm more concerned about the experience than the finish. I'm not saying that you can't one and done it, so get off my ass about my preference.

@Thanatos2k: Your ego clouds your judgement. Clearly no amount of explaining will allow you to comprehend that people expect different things from their experience.

Do you even realize that the majority of people who play through your typical AAA FPS game have no serious interest in playing competively. The type of fine key dexterity you're talking about does not apply for most.

Again I feel inclined to remind you, not once have I denied the benefits of KB&M. Is it "better?" Not for the experience that millions of us are looking for.

@savagerodent: You are defining the experience as purely performance based. That isn't the case.

KB&M may be more precise but that doesn't make it "better." Sure that feature may offer an advantage over controller based players but that does not make it "better." Many controller gamers prefer controllers because it is a more tactile experience that even allows us the feel of pulling a trigger to make a shot. It also allows us to play from the comfort of a couch without hunching over a keyboard, or requiring tables or gear. These reasons are what I and millions like me define as better.

Better is subjective, you just need to realize that everyone defines better in a different way. Who had the better life, the rich man who bought everything he could have ever wanted or the poor man that spent his life laughing and playing with friends.

@Thanatos2k: I'm already aware of these facts but precision is only one aspect of the gaming experience.

At no point have I argued that the mouse doesn't offer greater precision.

The point that I have disagreed with from the beginning is the idea that the KB&M is "better".

@RS13: "Better" is subjective as it is solely dependent on what you define as better.

I'm sorry but you are only correct in the sense that the KB&M meets what you define as better.

@RS13: I would argue that two those things are one in the same.

@RS13: I'm not sure how you play but I've never moved my arm much playing KB&M on PC games. If we're going down this path please explain to me how clicking a mouse is more akin to firing a gun then pulling the trigger on the controller?

Lets also consider the lack of feedback on KB&M. How about the instantaneous 180-1080 twirls with precision firing. Somehow I don't see that as maintaining realism.

Anyway, as I said I'm pro options so play how you want.

@lonesamurai1: Do you believe full root access to consoles should be a thing? Are you for bots and general multiplayer cheating? I like a good mod as much as the next guy but the blessing of consoles is that you don't have to deal with the same crap as PC users.

There are many devs that offer mod support. The question is whether or not they wish to bring that to console. Microsoft has opened the door, it's up to the community to demand it and devs to offer it.

@sakaixx: That's an opinion not a fact.
