@Pokemon18986: Kind of how I felt then and now. I knew Sony was going to come in fairly strong this year and Microsoft was going to come in weak but the end result is closer than you'd think. That is unless you're a Japanese game fanboy, in that case Sony slaughtered. I just don't get into most of those titles. I'm completely open to them but most don't grab me. I think I'll stick to watching their associated anime instead.

This mentality is exactly why I stopped watching cable television. I got sick of watching a show that was doing reasonably well and then it was cancelled after one or two seasons because it didn't meet the corporate standard of excellence or didn't match their target demographic. If a show has plenty of viewers and is turning a profit leave it the hell alone. Don't get me wrong, I see the simplicity in throwing everything at the wall and seeing what sticks, but that's just lazy and in the end tends to piss off more people than necessary. Cancelling shows that people enjoy is just going to push them to a more consistent service.

If this CEO has his way Netflix will go from being the champion that saved much beloved shows, to the company that destroyed them.

@yangwenli1: You may want to keep up with whom you're speaking to. Your argument is that movies suck and that's why people aren't going. I would argue that the affordability of big screen home theaters, the reduction in time it takes for movies to release to video and the increase in affordable services like Netflix are also key factors. Every year the average size of TV's, and the size, quality, and affordability of surround sound systems improve.

Now more than ever people are asking themselves why spend $15+ per head at the theater if you can get a similar experience at home. It's a fair question. I have an awesome, huge, home theater setup but I personally go to the theater as an excuse to get out into society. It feels good, even if it is just going into another building. Being able to pay for my specific seat online is probably one of the largest factors in me going to the theater. If I had to go back to standing in line early so that I could get a good seat I probably wouldn't go as much as I have. That being said I'm older now so I'm typically only going with 1 other person. I didn't mind waiting in line as much when I was younger and there were a half a dozen of us idiots there

@Addict187: Looking at your username kind of answers any question I may have. I think it unlikely you understand the rationale behind too much of a good thing.

@yangwenli1: Oh look - I'll make a generalization about society and if anyone disagree's I'll just try to Mortal Kombat sweep the toe to victory. **slow clap**

@ice12tray: Guardians 2 was good but a little more fat trimming could have made it as good as the first one.

@iammcgruber: It takes time and money. They already made their investment. If you want more games than the best way to get them is to partake in the service.

@clay544888: And that my friends is how you overcharge a king for his food while having him thank you for doing so. Sure the food may taste a bit better but the value hardly scales evenly to the quality.

@Daveof89: Scorpio should be able to do 360 upscaling to 4k. Not that it means much. I'm hoping it'll give us a little boost to any BC games that suffer minor framerate issues. Unless there is something in the software that is fussing with the framerates, they should just improve naturally due to better hardware.
