I felt dizzy after playing a bit of Splinter Cell for the Ps2. Is that normal?hydralisk86

No, I don't want to scare you, but you need to get that checked out by a doctor as soon as you can. it could be something, it may be nothing, but it is better to find out from a doctor to be sure, and on the safe side.

try and find a videogame store or video rental store in your area that has the disk cleaning machines, that is your only option.

dont try the tooth paste method because that is just an urban legend, not only could it make it worse, but it could scratch the lens of your game system.

the tooth paste method it is just like the cream stuff you are using, once you get the tooth paste on, it will smear.

does the dvd player work on it, when you plug it into the same input?

It could possibly be that the back connectors on the tv are loose making the tv lose its signal from the wires that would explain the eratic behaviour. here is a simple test to see if that is the case,

keep the wires plugged in to the game system and tv and turn them both on if you get the lines on the screen jiggle the chords and eventually you will get a signal.

be careful though and not shake them too hard! also this test is easeier with two people one to watch the screen the other to shake the chords. if it is a new tv take it back and get a replacement because this problem gets worse over time.

one other thing if the dvd player does work do not try this test. hope this helps.8)

I forgot to mention when you don't have the puck press and hold L2 then move the right analog stick, a yellow circle should appear under one of your opponents, this for intimidating the other teams best players or if you want you can harass another enforcer etc. when figure out what player you want to Intimidate release L2. the circle should be orange. one of your teammates will follow that player and harass them, or you can do it yourself by using the right analog stick.

doing that may Intimidate your opponent and that makes their play suffer or it could start a fight, but if you do it to much it may get you a penalty. either way it is effective and also adds realism.

don't forget everything I mentioned in both posts is in the loading screen. somtimes they show the pro control other times it is the enforcer controls.

Like I said before when you get used to all of the controls you will be happy with the game if your a big hockey fan, if your not a big fan but dont mind playing hockey once and a awhile I would suggest you go for the EA version.:D

If your using a screen of that size then yes go for the component cables. really to get the best picture on screen sizes 36 inch and up it is best to have component cables.
